Got to give this place a 0 star on service. Many issues including charging for chips and salsa. Then charging a different amounts for the chips and salsa then what's on the menu. Plain forgetting to put iteams on your plat...for example I order something that comes with beans and rice...not giving them to me and pitching a fit if I ask for them....then they charge me extra for the items that come with what I order. Today was the last straw. I ordered the large soda....2.50 and it clearly states on the menu that it comes with free refills....so I got 3 fill ups (the first one and 2 additional ones). So the owner had thr nerve to charge me an additional 1.55 for my third refill....they did not tell me they where going to do this....they just slipped it on the bill. You be best to avoid this place and its pricing drama. I will never be going back. At least tell me your going to charge extra if you feel the need to and maybe I can make an informed choice.

I came in today with a young man I support who has developmental disabilities. We took a long time to order but the waitress was so patient and helpful with us. It was awesome to see someone really care about helping us pick something we’d like because we did not know quite what to order. The food was AMAZING. I had the pan pollo and it is easily my new favorite food. The chicken was so tender and the sauce is unlike anything I’ve tasted before! I have an easily upset stomach so I have to be careful what I eat, but holy cow, my tummy approved! My friend ordered the taco salad and he loved it as well! When I went to the bathroom later, my friend went to pay, which he usually needs a bit of assistance to do, and the waitress helped him through the process. What struck me was that she spoke to him like she would any other person, with dignity and respect, whereas a lot of people will speak to him like he’s a child. I appreciate that as much as the food. We’ll definitely be back!

La Loka...ask for her by name!! Best server around. The food here is made fresh daily! "Lalo", ..she makes our visit fun. The pupusa con chicha chicharon y queso..is fantasticks. Free homemade chips and salsa. Tamales are great too!!

Before, the food was delicous! All of a sudden now, the food changed. I went in and bought some pupusas de pollo. The pupusas only had chicken in the center. I also found a piece of meat in the CHICKEN pupusas. (I had the pupusas for take out)

So good! The carne asada tacos are amazing. The chicken soup is incredible and includes half of a chicken

Catalina's used to be our go-to place for Sunday lunch. The service was great and the food delicious. Recently the lady sold the restaurant and the quality has plummeted. The sign still says "Catalina's" but the receipt says the name is now "Rincon".

Great food, had some takeout when I working at the hospital. The restaurant is a great little family owned and operated. Fresh and authentic Latin American food, this isn't your ordinary Mexican restaurant, it actually has other authentic dishes that are delicious!

Amazing food and service! The best Salvadoreña cuisine in Gainesville!! Come try the pupusas and the Salvadorean horchata!
