For my mother's 73rd birthday, I decided to take her to Longhorns in Gainesville with the family. As soon as we were sitting down at our table, our waitress Samantha came to take our drink orders, and she instantly had a terrible attitude. When she hadn't brought my mother's non alcoholic drink, 10 minutes after bringing everyone elses, I asked for it again as she walked by and her reply was "If you wait a minute I was just getting it". She also never refilled our drinks once. She continued to have a terrible attitude all night. When my sons steak was rare and he asked for it to be cooked a little longer, she asked, "At what temperature do you want it cooked exactly?". He replied that he just didn't want it rare. When I paid by the scan code on the table, she not only argued it hadn't been paid but before I could show her confirmation via email she got her manager to the table (I didn't asked to speak to the manager, btw) and was able to show the manager confirmation. I usually go to the Longhorns in Buford GA and wish I had tonight. We came to your establishment on a special occasion for my mothers birthday, but by the time we left, everyone in our party knew we wouldn't want to come back to the Longhorns in Gainesville. The waitress only had us plus 1 other table. Is professionalism too much to ask when dining at Longhorns?

The food has always been very good. The service always excellent. It is pretty loud sometimes though but that's just most restaurants. Definitely a good place to eat. Portions are large too if you're looking for bang for the buck.
