The food is ridiculously good. Such great flavor!! You can tell everything is made with care. I could not stop eating. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the folks were nice, and they had baseball on the big screen. So, dang, good. This is a new regular spot for us.

The food was really good, but the service was really extremely bad!!!! Always on their phone we never had any refills on our drinks No one ask if everything was good...,. next thing you know they're gonna want us to go and pick up the food in the kitchen!!! and before we leave wash dishes, but they asked for the payment before you even eat!!! and the tip before you even try the food!!! Definitely not coming back.,!!??The food is good but!! But the service is very bad. The girl is on her cell phone all the time???!!! The only thing missing was that we went to the kitchen to get the food and when we finished eating we cleaned the dishes.,. But if they want us to pay for the food before eating and the tip in advance without knowing how they are going to serve us very badly, we will not return ??

Their new place in Gainesville is great!! Very spacious and just has a nice vibe to it. The food (as always) is fresh and delicious. Their service is friendly and they always greet you with a smile. I recommend you pay them several visits because you won't be able to try everything you should try on your first visit. I suggest starting off with their AREPA PELUA (#5) so you can understand our countries MAIN food. Appetizers are always a must so make sure you get some tequeños (no.... they are NOT CHEESE STICKS), empanadas and mandocas. Pastelitos are delicious but they don't have them available here yet. After you've had these MUST haves then I suggest you try their PATACON and then their CACHAPA... just trust me, you'll love it. Note of caution.... Venezuelans LOVE cheese. If you're not a cheese person, they do have items without cheese, but just do a double take and make sure ? I'll continue visiting this spot for many years to come. Awesome spot ?
