So I’m thinking this restaurant is a soul food/southern eatery sponsored by a Jamaican Chef at that point. It was to the point to where I had rice and gravy basically! The gravy was spilling out of the container so much the bottom of the plastic bag was wet!Ox Tails: Some of us ordered Ox Tails and they were so small that it looked like they double sliced a slice of the Ox Tail. The flavor of the food was good and not disappointing though, flavor wise. The Plantains were good and I’d purchase them again! I would tell them to hold the gravy or ask them to place it on the side.Service: No! No! No! The service is bad. You could be speaking to a young lady at the register and she would totally look at you and answer your question as if you are bothering her! Don’t expect to be greeted, simply place your order and wait for your food. Sit Down and Shut Up! Get your food and go! If you expect this, you’ll be great.Atmosphere: Basic and not many places to sit. This is a small spot located on a corner. There were a lot of vehicles on the property that made it look like a wrecker yard but just focus on your food and you’ll be fine.

I order on DoorDash every time and every time it’s delicious. Just bought my mom a plate and now she wants to visit and get a plate. I ordered the jerk chicken, peas and rice, with macaroni and cheese. I highly recommend never disappointed.

Tasted like baked jerk covered in store bought Brown stew sauce. Very mediocre. The food was lukewarm in temperature and taste. If you thought this was good you've never had real Jamaican food before. Horrible. A waste of money for sure. The only good thing was the cabbage l, everything else was sub par.

I enjoy Caribbean food but will never order from here again. Caribbean food should have flavor and spice but what I ordered, wasn't a hit sadly. I ordered oxtails with curry chicken. The food was cold. The rice was undercooked. The curry was just color and tasteless. There was only one piece of chicken. There was 3pieces of oxtails, tasteless, no flavor. The plantains were not sweet. The beef patties tasted rough and sticky. Extra spicy, but still tasted plain. The crust tasted stale. I would not recommend those items from the menu.

I ordered the Curry Chicken for my sister, which honestly left a lot to be desired. The curry chicken had no flavor whatsoever. She did make me try it, and it wasn't the worst, but it also wasn't the best. I went for the Jerk Chicken, which was way better. I also ordered a Jamaican Patty, which I must say was absolutely disgusting. The actual pastry of the patty was not done at all and had no volume as in flaky. You could barely taste the beef, and as you can see in the picture the Patty was very flat This was the second time I've eaten here because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. No doubt this will be the last time I eat here. If I had to rate this place out of 5 stars, they would definitely get 2 out of five.

I always order here the past two times it was very bad it must be a new cook , oxtails meat is very tough and not good. Cabbage has no seasoning and parts of the rice is hard , I got a large plate and they only gave me 4 pieces. I will not eat here again!
They have the best ox tails and stewed chicken EVER! I will definitely recommend to all my friends and will most definitely be returning myself.

That was the Worst food I ever eaten. My rice and peas was so soft. My beef patty was so hard. My large oxtail dinner should have been a small Waste of money. The jerk chicken wasn't grill it was bake chicken with jerk barbecue sauce on it.

Ordered jerk chicken rice and peas, food tasted ok I guess but they drowned everything in gravy. Had to shovel gravy off the rice, chicken and even plantain which completely destroyed the food. Couldn’t eat half of it ??If they didn’t drown it I gravy I probably would have enjoyed it….

It's not the worst "Jamaican" food I've had.??I ordered the Combination plate of goat and brown stewed chicken w/white rice and cabbage.The brown stewed chicken was inauthentic, and neither was the goat. The food was salty for my taste and did not taste as if it was freshly prepared the same day.In other words, it tasted as if I was eating left overs. On the totem poll of worst Jamaican restaurants I've eaten from, "It's A Jerk Shack" lands #2 on my list.
