The employees are rude and act like they’re giving you FREE FOOD, when it’s as expensive as going to outer space. Do better. and stop hating on people that have the same color and struggle as you!!!

i literally stopped coming here because the service is so bad. RUDE people at the front, and over priced food. Go to Waves or Tastees you will get much more food and a smile!

I ordered the stew chicken from DoorDash and it was way too expensive. $40 and taste like jambalaya from the box at Walmart. The last time I ordered there was hair in the food, but at least it tasted good until I found the hair. Even that was an argument which they didn’t want to give me a new plate. They wanted to take the same food and just chang the plate. I had to argue with them that I found a hair in my food. I’m just done with this place.

I love the food and have eaten here for years. However, my latest experience has me at a place of never giving them my money again. I placed an order via Uber Eats, waited 2 hours to be told the price in the app is different than their system & I would need to come in to pay the difference. 1. I had to call myself to get this info. No one called or messaged me. 2. The price listed in the app vs their system should not be my fault as a customer. You honor the price listed. 3. They blamed Uber and said Uber makes up the prices themselves. Uber said the merchants set their own prices. 4. The person at the restaurant kept saying they don't have the Uber machine, again how is this my problem as a customer. Your restaurant is listed in the app.I do not have time to be in a tug of war between a delivery app and a business. They should've figured out a way to discount my order so it matched the total that I had in the Uber app and sorted through their pricing issues later. I have never had a poor experience with this restaurant before, although I've seen many negative reviews for customer service. This was 1000% unacceptable.

I’ve been coming here for 14 years. I can attest that this is the best Jamaican restaurant I’ve been to, and it’s affordable. You can get a dinner plate to eat in two sittings for $12. Many restaurants can’t beat the price. It does get busy here sometimes but it’s so worth it! Check it out Atlanta, this is my top recommendation for Jamaican/Caribbean cuisine in the Metro, Ionie’s Caribbean Kitchen!Vegetarian options: There is a separate vegetarian menu where they will cook whatever you desire to order.Dietary restrictions: Whether you eat pork or not, or have other dietary restrictions, the team will be happy to find the right dish for you.Parking: It can get tight here during peak hours, but even during light hours of business, you do have to park a little bit back.Kid-friendliness: The portions here are huge, but if you’re willing to feed your child an adult meal, this is definitely a family friendly spot.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp to access the restaurant.

Been coming here for years because I live close by and it’s convenient, but I am so sick of dealing with their HORRIBLE attitudes! Imagine going there, spending your money & supporting this business and they act like you’re bothering them. Do BETTER! This has been going on for way too long and there are too many reviews complaining about your bad attitudes for it not to be corrected by now. People don’t HAVE to spend their money there!Update since writing the review: I went in and asked for the owner. Sometimes you assume that the poor customer service and the bad attitudes stem from management/ownership, but she was the sweetest lady. She listened to my concerns and agreed that it was unacceptable and even pulled one of the employees out to discuss a situation that had happened. She apologized several times and seemed pretty concerned after I told her the “bad attitudes” seem to be the consensus in these reviews. I hope she reads this and things get better because I enjoy their food and would hate for her to start losing business because of the poor customer service from her employees.

It has been a minute since I have eaten here. The customer service has always been touch and go and SUPER SLOW!!! I had a taste for oxtails. The price has gone up to $25 and I was very disappointed to get home and have 3 little bones with NO meat on them! I remember when this dish was $15 and they gave you so much two people could make a meal and you would still have leftovers.. basically I paid $25 for cabbage, rice and peas with gravy! I didn’t even get plaintains. Sadly after 14 years of patronage it is time to find another Jamaican restaurant!!!
