“Our first time at The Grill, only our second time at Parkside. This place must be a secret. A nice movie theater and at least 4 restaurants. We picked the Grill as it had a big menu, reasonable prices and we wanted to support a local mom and pop kinda restaurant. It did not disappoint. I had a really great Buffalo Fried Chicken Salad. My wife had the Hamburger steak dinner. Our friends had the Fried Shrimp basket and the grilled pork chop plate. All great, all very reasonably priced. The staff were very attentive and nice. Looking forward to going back again. I should mention that we drive over from Eastlake on Sinclair, so about an hour's drive but well worth it to come to a nice theater and a good selection of restaurants. All in the same spot. Make sure you go to the Grill first. Nice people and good food.“
“This was my first time at da Corrado Ristorante in Greensboro.I was taken to da Corrado Ristorante by local friends as we are visiting from Seattle. The waiter, Dustin, was professional and knowledgeable regarding the food and its preparation.We had four different dinner choices and all were superb.We finished by sharing a Cannoli which was a lovely finish.When we return to Greensboro, this is a must dine at place for us.Lastly, we had brief conversations with the owners, super friendly folks.“
“We just stopped by the Chick-fil-a at Lake oconee with my husband and 7 year old boy on the way home to Atlanta. He was playing in the kids play area and he left a shirt there. We didn't realize it until we were 10 minutes away from home. This was a special shirt bought in the Bahamas. We called and asked if they could send it to us and we would pay them. They said they would send it to us and don't worry about paying. The owner Josh Waddy is an incredible person. Of course we are sending them money and will stop by there any chance we get.Also, we got our food quickly even though it was very full. All of the staff friendly and efficient and shout out to Shayna Shipley who I spoke with on the phone. Wonderful people and well-run restaurant!!“
“If you are looking for TRUE ambiance, not just some manufactured "romance", then Table At The Lake is the place for you. When my eldest son, who was in Florida at the time, asked me to describe it, the best I could come up with on short notice was, "If you could imagine a library filled with colors that are really saturated, with deep greens, bronze, and textures of leather and velvet. Think library of coolness?" There seem to be endless nooks/booths/sitting areas, so it isn't just some restaurant filled with tables. There are lots of different spaces, where you feel alone, but still among people. It's honestly so cozy. The vibe is unlike anything else here at Lake Oconee. The service is so unique to other places here, which is a challenge, because most of our higher end restaurants are owned by Reynolds (and members only), so to have a high caliber wait staff that is unique in it's own way, and still has that "cool" element is "choice". They exude coolness, without having to be forced to. The food is phenomenal! Honestly, there's nothing you could order that you'd regret. Just go. Enough said.“
