The cupcakes are usually phenomenol! The ones I ordered for my birthday weren't very good. They were the funfetti(which I love) but the tops were super hard like they were overcooked. That being said, I know cake isn't always perfect. We've been 3 times since and the cupcakes were all moist and delicious. The only thing I don't like is how expensive the cheese straws are. I can't pay that price for a box because I gobble the whole box in one sitting ?

Absolutely delicious! This bake shop is super warm colorful and inviting. The service was excellence and all my baked goods are prepared with utmost care. . I ordered 24 assorted cupcakes for my husband’s birthday. Our guests could not stop talking about how good they were. The German chocolate was so moist and decadent, and the key lime was sooo tasty! The strawberry crunch cupcake reminded me of a good humor strawberry shortcake icecream bar! We also had a cinnamon roll cheesecake which was so delicious and flavorful. The sweet potato cheesecake is my all time fave but alllll the pastries are delicious.You have to try Kizzy’s!

A friend of mine had her wedding cakes made there in 2018, and I have been getting cakes from there ever since. Today, I tried ordering a cake for a graduation party and wasn't even able to discuss the cake but told to order it online or call back on Monday. I was completely dismissed by whoever the man was who answered the phone. I've worked in customer service for years and that's just not how you conduct business. I want to support small, female and black-owned businesses. However, this business has possibly become too "big" to appreciate my support. I will not be ordering a cake online, on Monday, or ever again. City Cafe and Bakery in Fayetteville is just as delicious with a much lovelier customer service experience.

I’ve purchased from Kizzy’s Kakes twice. The first time, I told the associate it was my first time there. I was cheerful and smiling, but the associate was not. I was the only customer in the store. Instead of exemplifying good customer service, she just asked if I knew what I wanted to order so I just chose a red velvet cupcake and a midnight velvet cupcake. I could hardly wait to get home and try the cupcakes. To my disappointment, they were too sweet and hard. I believe in supporting small businesses so I decided to try Kizzy’s Kakes again. This time, I chose something different. I believe the associate called it a Banana Pudding Cheesecake cup. The customer service was slightly better but still below average. Again, I waited until I got home. This treat was way too sweet. Now, sweets are my weakness. So if I say it’s too sweet, something is wrong!Parking: There are only a few parks along the street right in front of this location. Parking is free.
