I’ve been looking for a good place that makes good asada tacos & I found it. I got the asada tacos & they were great! I was full off of 1 1/2 and had to eat the rest the next day Chile. I also ordered a side of rice and put some on the tacos as well. 10/10 and will be returning and telling friends.

Title: Disappointing Experience at Taco RicoReview:I recently found Taco Rico through an online search for taco spots, and based on the positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. However, my experience at this establishment fell short of my expectations.Upon arriving at the drive-thru window, I was met with a rather indifferent staff member who seemed oblivious to my presence. She repeatedly walked past the window without acknowledging me, which was a frustrating start to my visit. Eventually, she reluctantly came to the window to take my order.I opted for the steak and chicken tacos, hoping for a flavorful and satisfying meal. Unfortunately, the lack of seasoning on the meat was immediately noticeable. The taste of cilantro and onions overpowered any other flavors, leaving me disappointed. The absence of proper seasoning left the tacos feeling bland and underwhelming.I had anticipated a more vibrant and authentic Mexican taste, but instead, I was greeted with an overpowering presence of cilantro and onions. The absence of any other flavors in the meat was quite disappointing. The tacos lacked the depth and complexity that I had hoped for, leaving me unsatisfied.Overall, my experience at Taco Rico was not what I had expected based on the positive reviews. The unseasoned meat and overpowering taste of cilantro and onions left much to be desired. While it is possible that my visit was an isolated incident, I cannot recommend this establishment for those seeking a well-seasoned and flavorful taco experience.

This place really does deserve more attention. Family ran and locally owned. Everything is very authentic and does not lack in quality. We went when I was way to hungry and the portions are very large. So much food left over and everything we tried was incredible.

Sat in the empty drive thru for several minutes then went to the window - still no one came to take my order so after waiting several more minutes I drove off. There were several people working at the counter, but I guess they didn’t want to man the drive thru.

Horrible service, got here 45 mins before they close and they turned the sign to closed and locked the door while making eye contact with me. Trash place don't recommend.

Don't underestimate the "hole in the walls." While sitting through an excruciatingly long eye dr's appointment on 8/3, I decided to Google some restaurants near me. We are still relatively new to Griffin (little over a year) and are still discovering many of the hidden gems there. This one is definitely going on my list. I thought I had experienced fresh salsa before, but nothing like this. It was soooooo flavorful!!! I also had tacos (al pastor, carne asada, fish, and chorizo). They were all very tasty and flavorful; however, the chorizo tasted a little burnt. I also had beans and rice. It was just soooo good. I will definitely go back. I am always down for some authentic cuisine and this place is spot on. If you have been driving by contemplating stopping, don't do it again. It is worth it! The service was fast and friendly at the drive-thru and food was made to order fresh.

I had great expectations of this place based on reviews and health score but I was definitely Swindled! I placed a call in order for The "house special" which consists of a bowl of steak, shrimp and chicken with rice and vegetables. I asked if she could just skip the steak and double the shrimp and she said that the original came with 5 to 7 jumbo shrimp at $8.99 but she could substitute the steak for 10 to 12 shrimp or an extra cost of $14 ,I was ok with that . I went through the drive-through to pick up my food , I get my food drive 20 minutes back to my house and it's 90% rice 5% vegetables and 5% meat . I had two tiny pieces of shrimp and maybe three pieces of chicken. So I paid extra money for mostly bland rice with 0 flavor. , Was beyond disappointed.

I would love to try them but every time I think about stopping they are closed. This has been since they opened. They would be successful if they set a schedule and work it.

Ordered food at 800 through Door dash and we paid with credit card. 5he driver went to pick up food and the business was closed. The business said they close at 830 and the driver was there and calling us by 828 so they cant blame the driver. NOT TO MENTION EVERY TIMEwe drive by this ace is always closed. I GUESS THIS PLACE DOESNT REALLY CARE ABOUT MAKING MONEY SINCE THERE HOURS SEEM TO BE ONES THAT ARE CONVENIENT FOR 5HE STAFF. WONT BE WAsting anymore time waiting on them to be open.Taco Pete is a good drive from here but 5hey are great and worth the drive plus 5hey love making money so they stay open making sure their customers are taking care of
