Seriously regret going here for lunch, absolutely awful experience all the way around. Place was absolutely dead and 4 employees were standing around the bar talking for quite awhile, took us 20 minutes or so just to get our drinks and they definitely do not know how to make even simple cocktails ordered off menu. Whiskey sour tasted like it was just a syrup/triple sec tasting bomb and margarita just was straight lime juice. When we were asked how things were and I told the girl it was awful and the drinks weren't made right at all she just laughed and walked off. Our appetizer came out right before the food did, which was the loaded waffle fries. They were super undercooked and just a mushy mess. To top it off I pulled a long black hair out of my mouth after taking a bite and they didn't care about that either, just "sorry for the inconvenience". Entrees we ordered were cold, but after all the nonchalant blowing off about things not being right or literally having hair in our food, we lost our appetite completely and just asked for the check and wanted to get the heck out of there. $50 for absolutely awful inedible food. The lack of care from the staff is a reflection of the management if there even is management here since we were never offered to speak to one about all the issues and got totally blown off. I don't think I've ever had a dining experience this bad. If they at least offered to remake/correct things maybe it could have been a bit better but clearly no one cares from the kitchen to the wait staff. Beyond unacceptable and for the amount we paid we definitely could have had a much better meal anywhere else.

We sat for around 10-15 minutes without being greeted by server. When she showed up, she said "looks like y'all haven't been taken care of". She took our order, and after another 30 minutes of waiting on fried chicken straps and fish and chips decided to leave after talking to the manager. Do not recommend!

Destiny was our waitress and she was absolutely EXCELLENT!! Her attitude and sense of urgency couldn’t have been any better! I only wish every server was as great as she was! Excellent personality. Excellent sense of humor. Excellent Excellent EXCELLENT Job!!The food amount and taste was perfect! Kid’s meals were enough for dinner and lunch tomorrow! (Well, maybe breakfast.. ? ?)We visit this Applebee’s restaurant fairly often and I can, without a doubt, say this visit far surpassed any other!Just can’t speak highly enough about our entire dinner tonight!! Kudos to Destiny and everyone we encountered!Kid-friendliness: Kid’s meals were great proportion!!

I will NEVER return to the Grovetown Applebees. This is the third time I had visited and no one knew who should greet us or seat us. My family and I were left standing as the bartender, managers, and servers continued walking around (with hardly any guest inside). No one acknowledged that we were standing there or that someone would be with us shortly…or that maybe we could sit where we wanted. I am refusing to allow my patronage to be unappreciated. I will take my business elsewhere.Applebees, train better. Do better. Your customer service is unsatisfactory. I will never return nor recommend.

We have visited Applebee's many times and many places. We always enjoy the atmosphere, the waitress/waiters and the other staff. The food is great and my favorite is the sirloin. Everything I've ever ordered and ate is great and (so far) is cooked the way I ordered it.4 star is for need more steak options. I reccomend Grovetown Applebee's

Well, it’s an Applebee’s building that’s about all I can say is good. Waited is 30 minutes to get seated, I counted 15 open tables while I waited. Once seated hostess stated someone will take your drink order. Humm after 30 minutes they brought me silverware let me take that back I got to go plasticware, waitress stated because they haven’t done the dishes. There’s only like 10 customers in the whole restaurant. Tried to give this place a second chance after several months of saying, I wasn’t gonna go back there because last time it looked like a good fight and just ended when we walked in; this, just reaffirmed I do not recommend this place. Can’t give any stars on the food never made it that far again!

Our waitress Hailey B was amazing and apologetic about the time of service. We entered the establishment at 9:34pm and here it is 11:07pm and just got our food. The restaurant was almost a quarter full. We are visiting from Savannah and we were looking forward to coming here and enjoying a nice evening after driving. We will never visit this location again. Thank you once again to Hailey B yet again for the conversation and being such a great server!!!

I was completely ignored. The hostess come by after 6 min and asked if the server had been by. He had not. I waited another 4 minutes without being acknowledged and left. A simple acknowledgement or SOMEONE there asking if I wanted a drink would have been nice.

I definitely feel as though Applebees has gone down hill over the years and even the experience here isn’t that great. Options are narrow with food choices and the food isn’t great either, very bland & dry and for the money spent you can find a better place to go. Applebees just needs improved all around.
