This was my first time eating here and I wasn’t thinking nothing of it and got a salad I had placed an order on the phone and the salad had cost 15 dollars I had asked if it was a large in portion they said yes but when I got my salad it was nothing but 1/2 of a salad there which I was disappointed and sad about but I choose not to complain until I saw a big in my food I went back up in there and told the cashier which didn’t seem to want to help and keep making up excuses to not refund I didn’t wanna start any problems just it a refund which she kept stalling so the customer service was horrible I had to hold my fist and tongue from cussing and jumping across the counter. The manager wasn’t present so I couldn’t consult with her but later after few minutes she gives my refund after she lied saying she didn’t know how like how you know how to do it now and why didn’t you begin with calling the manager for help ??‍♀️ I wasn’t gonna make a review but the whole thing pisses me off to where they don’t deserve to get off don’t go out rages prices and poor service and quality. in the picture that is a little bug I don’t know what kind but absolutely disgusting

I typically order takeout; however, the staff here is consistently welcoming and patient, especially when I'm ordering for my entire family in the evenings. The food and service are consistently excellent – they never disappoint!Onwards & Upwards,--Maurice Jr.

Deja was great!!!!!! She made sure that we were ok and if we needed anything else. They need more people like her. A person who engages with her customers and makes them feel welcomed. I had the philly cheese steak and it was good.

Jr crickets use to be my favorite place. Very loyal would come in maybe 2 if not 3 times a month.. lately the food quality has gone down and it upsets me to spend the amount of money and not get good food anymore. I gave them the benefit of the doubt again tonight for the first time in months and … let’s just say this may be the last time I even eat chicken now. Unacceptable!

Hello. I don't write reviews often. However, I wanted to give J.R. Crickets Lovejoy a shout out. My husband and I ate ther for lunch today (dec 22). We were met with a very nice waitress by the name of Mahogany. she did an EXCELLENT job; form greeting us at arrive until we left. The service was impeccable. Our food was good and HOT. Nothing worst than warmed over food. THIS WAAS NOT! I am always about good service and this place gave me the service I like. We will be back. We believe in being GREAT tippers when the service is GREAT. Mahogany should be training ppl at Chick-fil A, Nordstrom, or Delta Airlines. These are business that have excellent service. Mahogany, think about providing places like Krogers, Walmart, Olive Garden with a Master Class on how GREAT service ought to be for customers

Had high hopes for my first visit here. The place touts itself as having the best wings in Georgia, and I decided I was tired of missing out and wanted to experience Crickets for myself. For claiming to be #1, gotta say it was sorely disappointing. From the minute we walked in, the establishment was filthy. Tables were sticky, floor had grime all over it.That I can usually forgive if the food is really exceptional, but sadly it wasn't.We ordered a 10 pc of the lemon pepper wet, and they were the farthest thing from wet imaginable. They were chalky enough to draw on a blackboard. We also split a Philly steak and it was completely flavorless. The peppers and onions were undercooked and the whole thing lacked seasoning. We still ate our meal without complaints, because even if were honest with how we felt about the meal it's not like anything could have corrected it at that point. If they brought something else out for us, it likely would have been equally disappointing. Our server was kind enough, so 4 stars for service is the most generous rating I can give this establishment. We also noticed signage that stated orders over 50.00 would be charged an automatic 5.00 gratuity. Our meal was under 40.00 and somehow we were still charged for that gratuity, so keep a careful eye on your tab.Of course we didn't want to be Karens and make a fuss, because that won't help anything. We didn't want to squeeze them for free stuff just because we were unhappy, but best believe we won't be going back.American Deli has better wings tbh.The place would benefit from new management. But who knows? Maybe Saturday at noon is just a bad time to go. Maybe your experience will be better.

Our first clue should have been that there was absolutely no one in the place on a Saturday at noon. Our second should have been the table so sticky we had to move. And when I looked around and saw how dirty the entire place was, we should have gotten up and left. But we had heard so much about how J.R. Crickets served the "best wings in Atlanta" we were gulled into staying. Besides, we were starved. The server who eventually came over brought menus and came back with drinks. "Ready to order?" she asked. Yes, we replied. "Okay, give me a minute," she said and walked away. About five minutes later she returned and took our orders for a Philly Steak and a basket of lemon pepper "wet" wings. A long time passed--we were still alone in the restaurant-- and she returned with our food, which was warm, not hot. The Philly steak had raw green peppers in it, which were not in the menu description. The meat looked like cat food and was very dry. The onions were raw. The whole (quite small) sandwich was squashed down. The wings were even worse. Firstly, they were not wet, at all. Secondly, I would bet my last dollar that they were left over from the night before and refried. Even through the very medicinal and artificial taste of whatever they put on the wings, the chicken itself was super dry, stringy, and cold inside, and it had that unmistakable mineral taste of leftover chicken. When the server returned with the blue cheese dressing she had forgotten, I took a piece of celery and dipped. The dressing was fine—hard to mess up opening a jar, I guess—but the celery itself, though crisp, has a strange off taste, as though it had been stored with rotten food. Just wanting to get out of there forever, we asked for a check. She went away and came back without our check. "Is your food okay?" she asked, looking at our mostly uneaten baskets. "Yes, it's fine, can we please have our check now?" I asked again. I didn't understand why she came back with the cc machine and held it while I put in my card and paid, but when we left I looked at the receipt and saw we had been charged a five dollar "gratuity fee," despite the menu stating that said fee only got applied to checks fifty dollars or more. I am appealing the charge with my CC company. When we got home I immediately wrote to J.R. Crickets customer support, emailing them essentially the story I just relayed here. Needless to say, the only response was...crickets.

It's 9:30pm, they close at 10p, chairs on table in dining room. Hostess was rude, not friendly, acting as if she didn't want to be at work, told us to go to the gas station or next door if we wanted a drink, then she tried to request a 20% tip for the wings we ordered. Praying our wings taste OK when we get home.

I decided to patronize this establishment. Went in and placed my order at 3:47 pm I did not get my order until 4:25pm.The thing that hurts I place my order with a tip. This was not deserving of a tip or me placing an order. Service was lousy!!

I have the food 2 stars because I ordered a 30 piece and only received 5 flats. Now I didn’t think I needed to specify half and half but just because the person before me may have ordered all flats didn’t mean I wanted all those drums. The customer service was great as always but I can’t appreciate the cook making a decision like that for me.
