The food and drinks were good. I had the three meat. Ribs, brisket, and wings. I like that you can choose between Baby Back or Spare Ribs. I've never seen that before. The portions are really nice and come in bowls you can easily take with you if you need a doggy bag. The brisket was moist and had good flavor. I wish you could choose between pulled or sliced brisket. Overall, it was a good experience. I will come back.

When you walk in the door, you smell the smoke the food has been cooked in. It’s quite amazing! Great portions and amazing Brunswick stew. The half chicken was great in the chicken wings were quite large. The reason they did not get five stars was because everything is flavored with what I believe to be cayenne pepper. After about three bites all the food became too hot to finish. Very flavorful, but the heat was too much.

I will no longer support this place. 3rd time I got the brisket sandwich and it was dry and tasteless. Plus the price went up but the size/ amount they give you went down.

Absolutely Garbage. Ordered food and only got a Philly and 1 side out of everything. Do better at putting orders together. Update: The food was not good….beyond disappointed

We’ve ordered from pit boss probably 2-3x a week as we work in hapeville and are low carb so there’s not much here! We ordered today off their lunch special menu on DD (bbq sandwich) for my 5 year old and 1 year old. ($100 order total) the owner called and said they wouldn’t do the meals for the kids because it was past 2. The amount of money we spend here per week, to be treated that way when they’re the ones that left the menu up on DD, is just greedy and shows me who owns this business. DAS bbq is much better and they deliver here as well. After seeing the type of peopleThat own this restaurant we won’t be returning.

I have a Mahogany Series 1000SC2 Wood Pellet Grill. After a few cooks on the grill, the ashes from the burnt pellets start to build up which raises and raises the fire upwards in the fire pit. Eventually, the fire is level with the auger which heats up the pellets still in the auger. IF YOU DONT IMMEDIATELY STOP, TAKE THE GRILL GRATES OFF AND GET TO THE FIRE PIT AND CLEAN IT OUT TO THE BOTTOM, THE FIRE WILL BURN THE PELLETS IN THE AUGER AND WHEN IT COOLS, IT WILL CLOG UP YOUR AUGER AND IT WILL NOT TURN. IT IS A HORRIBLE DESIGN FLAW. The way to tell it is about to begin doing this is If you see puffs of smoke coming out of your pellet hopper. That means it is burning backwards and it is time to quit cooking and start cleaning. Horrible design!

A reasonably appointed BBQ joint. Service is friendly and full of smiles, however the counter service model is outdated in my opinion. Drinks are strong. Food has been good upon multiple visits; BBQ should be defined by how beef, specifically brisket, is prepared and it has tended to be just a bit off upon my visits—either fatty or dry. Overall, still well worth a visit as demonstrated by my multiple visits.

We were in town for business and wanted wings. Found Pit Boss and decided to give their smoked jumbo wings a try. I am very glad we did. They were awesome. We were greeted immediately upon entering by the happy staff. They were very friendly and as the first people we met at the restaurant, this really set the tone for a great experience. They answered all of our questions with a smile which is almost unheard of today. Great job ladies. The smoked jumbo wings were as amazing as I had hoped they would be. Smoked and then grilled with just the right amount of crisp and char. The young lady that greeted us and took our order recommended mixing the hot bbq sauce and lemon pepper sauce, which sounded odd but she was confident in her recommendation so I tried it. WOW it was amazing. I would have never tried that on my own.I will definitely return the next time I am in town.
