They have changed their seating arrangements and they have messed up. I don’t want to see other people eating their food. I had to seat up front next to the take out. And I saw as you entered the space was open for the children to do cheers and kick their feet up. Not what I expected to see. Too open space.I like the old way. The high wall and boosts. And I heard other people were saying they don’t like Jim and Nicks.. That was my best place to eat. I think you just lost me. Who changed this seating arrangement next time off for a month or longer. I DID NOT ENJOY MY DINNING OUT TODAY. . I really dont like to see people eating with food falling out.

I have been coming here for years. The staff are always friendly and do an excellent job. The food is always spectacular.But…. This remodel is a disaster. Dining should be an intimate affair with family and friends. Open concept is not a good thing in a restaurant, unless you’re going for more of a cafeteria vibe.The loss of the booths and partitions make the music extremely loud. If you have sensory issues i recommend bringing headphones or choosing somewhere else. Sounds like a Waffle House on a Saturday night.I agree a refresh was needed, but you’ve stripped it of all of its character and charm.
The service and food were excellent! I thought the decor was a little bland. I was expecting something a bit rustic, not so much warehouse like. But it was great!

Not the best service, every time my family and I have ate inside the restaurant the servers have been extremely rude and unavailable. Julia was the last server we had and she acted like it annoyed her when my family and I would ask her for something. She wasn’t friendly and really made the experience and some very good tasting BBQ and food extremely unenjoyable. So my family and I have now started going through the drive thru to enjoy the great Jim n nicks food that we love to eat. The drive thru staff are absolutely fantastic! They are so sweet and accommodating. The food is prepared fast and we haven’t had any problems at all. It’s sad though, to have to use a drive through to partake in something your family enjoys because the service is so bad inside the restaurant. Thank God for the drive thru!And one more thing…. To the management: would you please consider selling bags of your amazing ice? I would be willing to pay way more than what it worth to be able to take home a bag of ice. Selling ice would generate more revenue!

Nice clean restaurant, good service and the food was awesome.
Being gluten-free, I tried the new nacho plate with pulled pork, it was so delicious and alot of food! My 2 adult sons had the same but could not eat it all even! You could easily share! My husband had a pork sandwich and enjoyed every bite. Our waitress was attentive and kept everything filled and fun.Dietary restrictions: I shared about a new nacho chip plate with pulled pork that was a refreshing change and really delish.

Jim and Nicks is always a favorite of my husband and daughter. I love that they have a lighted patio. Especially on the warmer summer nights. It makes for a pretty magical date night if it isn’t too packed.I am a chicken tender type girl but I usually will grab a rib or two from my husband. Their ribs are usually pretty meaty and thy have a good taste, I don’t like the bbq sauce (maybe I shouldn’t say that) I am a honey bbq sweet heat type girl.My daughter loves the pulled pork, she tried that chili she wasn’t ready for the brisket that was added. Her pulled pork was really good and the baked potato’s are massive and chunky. I love the bacon and cheese and I wish there was more sour cream but I have a weird love affair with sour cream so that’s that! ?

My husband really loves barbecue, and with this location having gluten-free items displayed on their menu; I thought we would try this place. I noticed that they have outside seating and a bar inside. They bring cheese muffins out when you are seated. I ordered 2 appetizers, a soup and salad, and a potatoe. For some reason, all the food came out at once while I had sat waiting, watching my husband eat the yummy biscuits that I couldn't eat. The food was delicious, but I was frustrated that they brought all the food out at once and didn't even bring the appetizers out as the appetizer. Next time I am in Hiram, we will try this again and maybe I will get to try the barbecue.
