Someone told us they had the best fried shrimp..... but they don't. Tasted like the grease had fried a million fish before our shrimp. Staff friendly and great but food no thanks.

This place needs a sign! Unless you go in the Jekyll market- you’ll miss it. Chicken tenders were a tad dry- but great flavor. Mac & cheese was a hit for my 3 year old. BBQ sauce was delish & the sweet potato fries were perfection!! Staff were friendly. They were out of the rotisserie chicken- which is was I was hoping food. Overall- would eat here again.

We visited the Love Shack during the weekend of February 2nd.Excellent food, absolutely lovely!!The chicken is probably the best on the island, and it has a spicy taste to them.I had the buffalo chicken sandwich without mayo and it was really good!The staff were friendly and the area around the establishment was clean.I recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Jekyll Island!!

EXCELLENT FOOD. BEST fried oysters ever and shrimp too. Coleslaw a tad sweet but good. We ate there every day while in town. The servers could not have been more pleasant. Totally wonderful experience. Tucked away in corner of market where you will surly find a must have while you wait for order to be cooked. So if you're having trouble following gps look inside

Best fried shrimp on Jekyll Island! Always fresh with great fries too! Shack is in the back of the Jekyll Market and it is popular so bring some patience (about 10 minutes from order to food). Seating is outside the market (al fresco!) so it's all "take out".

Good luck actually finding this place no signs anywhere and if you do they will be randomly closed from 2_4 but they close at 6 ?
