Taste is superb here. This is my all time favorite now whenever I would like to taste Chinese food. They have something different food which is served in pot which is totally different and I am going to try it next time.Welcoming staffs who explains and understands your need. Fantastic meal and excellent service. I had a combo dry pot with lamb and crispy fish, everything was great but the fish was exceptionally good. Also enjoyed boiled dumplings and beef noodle soup both with fresh homemade noodles and dumpling dough!Highly recommend!

Food is great so is the service. We especially love spicy pork intestine pot and Hakka delight with pork. Next time will try malatang.
Good broccoli but walnut shrimp breading not cooked thoroughly and got upset stomach. Eggplant dish was good and mushroom appetizer was ok.

In the case of malatang, it is good because they serve a lot of meat, but it is a bit disappointing that there is not much meat or other additional ingredients, but since there is a lot of meat, it seems to be the best malatang restaurant for meat lovers!

Hunan Garden is FANTASTIC! Just moved here from NY and it is up to par with top Sichuan restaurants there. Would definitely recommend the pick 2 dry pot with fish and lamb, for $3 more the pick 2 is worth it. Service is great as well. I would give this place 6 stars and crave it weekly!

Had high hopes after reading the reviews, but this was a let-down. Don't order the walnut shrimp. Though the shrimp was succulent and perfectly cooked, the coating was gooey and tasted bad (and did not agree with our stomachs after). What a pity. The other dishes were ok, but not great. That will be our first and last visit.
