Went for the 1st time today. There was no wait and the people were really friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the food didn't make the cut. I got the big breakfast with a peach cobbler waffle. The chicken sausage tasted awful. My scrambled eggs and pepper jack grits had no seasoning. My waffle was just ok. My companion had the blackened shrimp over grits and they also said the food lacked flavor. Hopefully this was an off day because all of the reviews were great. And I was disappointed about a mandatory 18% gratuity for more than 1 person. There were only 2 in my party but now we know.

Excellence at its best! From entry to checkout, my experience was the epitome of extraordinary service. Now…the star of the show was the food starting with the Seafood Beggars, split between 3 of us, had each begging for more. The grit bowl did not disappoint my friend, we laughed, as she described each component in the bowl. My other friend wondered how a simple omelette could taste so good. The Egg Fusion was an elevated version of eggs, potatoes and meat. Don’t let that simple description fool you, paired with the chicken sausage, it’s amazing. Listen, when your toast taste delicious without adding anything to it, you know you’re at a place that knows food. The icing on the proverbial cake was Broc. I have to come up with a better name than server. He was engaging and added to an already fabulous outing. My new hometown friend.

My co-worker recommended this spot and everything about this place was amazing. The food, the services as well as the atmosphere was GREAT !!!!! I especially love to see business owners be hands on with their establishments and Honey and her husband were AMAZING. I didnt get any pics of the food because I dove right in lol but this place is definitely a 20/20 and a MUST try

The food was Fire! i dont know what was my favorite. I am not a big grits eater but the perperjack grits hit diffrent. Collard Green Egg Rolls and the big breakfast were fire.

By far one of the best spots in the city ..great food , the staff and owners are Phenomenal And everything is homemade and made fresh ..I hope this place becomes a staple in this city for what a black owned business SHOULD be
