I asked for steak tips instead of bacon with my platter, hadn't touched a bite, and they literally took the entire plate of food away like they were punishing me. Like, I get taking the bacon, but why would you take the whole plate after I waited 30 minutes for it? Then the manager had the nerve to tell me it would be because "the food would be cold". That makes zero sense, the food is on the table, how would it be cold had I been allowed to have it?? Disgusting waste of food and time and very rude. Highly disappointed.

took 10 min to be greeted after we were sat, the server walked past us 3 times without a word yet talked to her other table multiple times. took another 15 min to get two drinks, and forgot to bring out my grits with the food. my friend asked for gravy, waited 10 min then had to stop her in passing to get it cause she didn’t bring it out after she brought out my grits. also not extremely friendly, everyone else had a smile on their face while she treated us like a chore. honestly just wish I had a different server and my experience would’ve been better

When placing an order to go, they NEVER answer the phone. I still like calling in a order because I still like using cash. I usually call when it's not busy too!! We love the food but like all the other restaurants No one answers the phone!!!

The long lines are confusing. I got in the line that said to go food to order, after waiting awhile,!upon my turn, no it was not correct line to order to go food. Another line. Another wait. Then, Same thing to pay for food upon completion of order.

Vacations are, by definition, supposed to be relaxing and hopefully refreshing. We were thinking that when we took a mini vacation to Atlanta. Relaxing, it was not. Three of the four members were sick ? ? at the end and dreading the car ride home. We needed to stop for food along the way, and Cracker Barrel was the one place everyone could agree to. We were seated straight away and waited on by a truly delightful young lady. She was bubbly and made our weary family feel better. We ordered the catfish and really enjoyed it. Thank you, Cracker Barrel, for a fine experience.Kid-friendliness: Great choices on the kid friendly menu.
