Ambiance is really good, food was OK, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be great for others. The BBQ sauce and some of.the food was more vinegar based than I usually prefer but I know for many that is a strong suite. Overall a very enjoyable experience

My opinion the pulled pork wasn’t pulled enough. The french fries were cold and limp. I loved the mac and cheese and the potato salad was much preferred over the coleslaw.

This was our third and final attempt at having a decent meal at The Nest. We went for dinner tonight, around 5:15, and while the restaurant was not very busy yet, it took our server several minutes to make their way to our table. Our appetizer came out in a timely manner, but after ordering our entrees, we did not see our server until 30+ minutes later, when our food (tacos and a wrap) finally arrived. The tacos were decent, but the wrap was missing ingredients and was nothing like what was described on the menu (no crema, un-roasted corn, a few beans, onions and tomatoes masquerading as “salsa”). After apologizing for the “inconvenience”, our server stared at us until we asked what could be done. Ultimately, we just asked for it to be taken off the bill, not wanting to wait another 30 minutes for an identical, disappointing dish.P.s. Please do something about the flies.

Five stars for service, three stars for the food. Good draft beer selection! We ordered brisket plate, and was almost inedible -it must have been sitting around all day (it was a slow evening). They cheerfully replaced it with another dish.The ribs were good, but there's a lot of places with good smoked ribs. It seems to me you should at least get one side included with a rack of ribs, but sides were extra. The cole saw was awful - just chopped cabbage? The sweet bbq sauce was thin and watery. I'm sure they have some good dishes if you know what to order, and are there on the right night.

Wow! Look for the round sign. This place is kinda hidden. Worth the stop. We had the pork rhinds, pull pork plate and half chicken plate. With beans, cease salad and fries. Everything is fresh made. All around awesome experience.

We decided to order a meal from here recently for our anniversary. We had driven past many times, but never eaten here. We took a chance and were not disappointed in our choice at all. Probably the best bbq we’ve had in the Kennesaw/Marietta area yet! Highly recommend.
The Nest has college town/backyard bbq vibe with plenty of patio seating and a “boutique smokehouse” menu (might’ve just made that up). You have your classics and a few more creative menu items with local flare, an amazing beer selection and plenty of sauces to choose from.I’ve had better meals here but unfortunately this visit (after 5pm on a weekday) left much to be desired when it came to food.The wings were way overcooked, the Crispy skin to meat ratio was 5:1. However there was great flavor in the rub and locked into the meat. The variety of sauces helped out.The pulled chicken was dry. The beignets were overcooked, hardened and dry.The service was on point! Very attentive and kept drinks refilled.I will definitely be giving them another chance but this particular meal really

Won't go again! Horrible service!!!Took 10 minutes to get drink order placed. Then a party of 27 (young baseball team & parents) was sat 15 min after we arrived, they were inside while we were outside. We placed food orders, 30 min later a different employee brought my daughter our food and said ours was coming right out. We asked where our server was because we needed refills. He said, sorry we are busy with the party of 27 and we'll go get refills. 5 min later he comes back apologizes again, and said food is coming. It took over 45 min total to get our food. Our server "taco" finally showed back up, apologized to the table behind us, offered them a to-go box, then apologized to us. She said they had her work the table of 27.Apparently 2 tables with guest already sitting were not more important than us and table behind us....because they wouldn't have someone else wait on us and all they did was apologize.We've honestly had better service at fast food restaurants. They openly admitted service was bad. I mean, what do they expect. Just rude....won't go back!!!

Came one summer morning as soon as they opened because my daughter and I were in the area. This place is charming. But interesting because there’s two similar buildings with a deck and porches in between them so we didn’t know which side to go into. But honestly everyone we ran into was so nice it didn’t even bother me.Service was great! Macy was super nice and patient with all my questions about the menu. She checked on us regularly even after we got our food. Even as other guests had arrived.The food was great! I got the pulled pork nachos. They were amazing! And my daughter raves about her burger and fries also!Highly Recommended!!!
