“Ok so first I’d like to say that it’s nice to see Lagrange starting to get some more up scale places. But you can only be more upscale if you actually listen to the reviews on constructive criticism. The first time we visited, granted they just opened and are getting their feet wet. The staff was very attentive, friendly. We sat at bar, got wine tasting, ordered an appetizer that was decent. We asked that our dinner come AFTER we drank a bit and relaxed. It was even told to the kitchen 2x on this request. That didn’t happen, they pushed it out, the scallops were great, the risotto was not good, basically sticky white rice, no flavor, it takes skill to actually make risotto, you have to babysit it, second and final,, for a night atmosphere. WAY too bright. You need to turn the lights WAY down, we are not eating in a cafeteria. I even spoke to the GM and he did turn down a little, not enough, even the bartender was like wow that’s much better! maybe some ppl are ok with bright light eating, but we moved here from Atl and been to enough great restaurants AND bars that heed this. You will find ppl will spend more $ in a warmer dimmer atmosphere. Now the brunch we had was fantastic, so good there.“
