Excellent fried whole catfish served hot. Definitely an out of the way locally owned restaurant. The parking lot was almost full at 4:30 in the afternoon.Kid-friendliness: Kids welcomeWheelchair accessibility: Handicap accessible ♿

So far off the beaten path, only locals know about this place. It's open 3 days a week and stays packed. Southern food and hospitality live here.

The main thing was the taste of the food. Nowhere near as good as it used to be.

Food was ok. The to go orders are picked up outside and I could barely see to fill out my card information. Paid about $55 for a burger with fries and a plate of popcorn shrimp, fried shrimp ,hush puppies and a side of onion rings. Parking was a nightmare. I heard a lot of great reviews about this place, but I just wasn’t impressed.Parking: All gravel. Not really sure the best time to go, but this place is only open on weekends (I was told) so I’d say if you have the option to carpool, do so.

The food is always great. We love the hamburger steak, flounder and cheeseburgers. They have a great salad. The hush puppies are our FAVORITE!! The servers are always smiling and friendly. We have been driving from Anderson, SC for over 20 years to eat here.

The service was terrible. We had to fight the Flys. Our food came out and everything was cold. We did didn't see or waitnes until she brought our bill. Last trip for us. We could have gotten better service and food at ingles hot bar for captain D'

I used to eat here every weekend years ago and then the quality went way downhill so I quit. Haven’t been back in at least 5 years so tonight I decided to give them another chance and was just reminded why I quit. Catfish fillets were stale and thin, barely any meat, brisket was dry and sides were very small portions. On top of this you stand outside in the cold to wait on to go orders and the building appears to be poorly maintained
Best barBQ and fish house around!
