Should have walked out when I realized how shabby the place was. Sometimes in Gwinnett you forget you're in the south. Here, the slow wits will remind you of the rest of the south.Service was terrible. The food looks terrible. I ordered food and sat for half an hour in the store waiting for my food. Apparently it was ready and they didn't see me! ? Brilliant staff.The place is dingy and the staff looks like they are barely holding on. Go to McDonalds or waffle House. At least there will be some consistency and not total incompetence. Listen to the other negative reviews, they were right!

I love stopping by this little biscuit place on Saturday morning. The food is very delicious and you gotta try the bacon egg and cheese so good.

It's just a nice little southern food diner no frills just good food and the prices are excellent! Im A truck driver at night so I only get their breakfast when I'm headed home. I always get the breakfast bowl that has grits eggs sausage cheese and gravy for $5 and I always get my wife a sausage egg and cheese biscuit and she loves them it's also around $5 . Sweet tea is on point You really can't go wrong!Parking: It's attached to a gas station so parking opens up regular it's not a huge parking lot but I've never found it difficult.

This place is exactly what you expect from the the name and that is wonderful. A bowl of mashed breakfast and sticky salt shakers? And indeed both with gravy. Five stars because they know to call a spade a spade and I respect an establishment for that.

This isn't southern cooking. But if you like it then enjoy. Not for my taste buds. But it gets regular traffic.

Update... 8-29-23. Service has got a lot better. Portion sizes are still smaller with a higher price rag, but what isnt nowadays. Food still taste good.... 7/23 Been going here for breakfast for the last 8 years. Just recently things have changed and seems like I am getting so much less for the same price. Steak biscuit now is smaller then the biscuit itself, bacon biscuit with 2 pieces of bacon ( used to be 4). The owner seems to really be cheaping out lately and has forced me to find breakfast else where. It's sad because place was so good.

I have going here for a couple of years ... the food has always been good and nice and fresh and generous portions ... the staff has always been very friendly and helpful ... nice country place ... but this time was exceptionally awesome because of Jess!! I took my dog,Oreo and when I ordered I told Jess I wanted to order a plain hot dog for him ... she cooked the hot dog and cooked it for him... Oreo and I both enjoyed or food and we thank you, Jess for the extra attention

Great place for some down home country style breakfast. Wonderful BBQ. The bacon is EXCELLENT! I've had a request for their bacon egg and cheese biscuits all the way from NC if that tells you anything. Recommend giving it a try. I've been a long time customer myself.
