The pupusas are really horrible. The sauce smells like rotting tomatoes, the cheese looks fake, and the chicharrones are expired. It is a great bad taste in my mouth and danger of poisoning that I have had in this place. Be careful because it is practically non-existent and the price seems equally high in comparison to other local Salvadoran food places where I have been. I was really surprised because the façade looks pretty...The fragrance that I can say, at least when I visited it reeked of sewage mixed with old cooking oil...I don't plan to return and even less recommend it to friends or people. from other cultures.

I stopped in to pick up desserts for a dinner party. They seem to make fresh every day and there were so many tasty options. I also grabbed a few pupusas while in the store for lunch. Those were made fresh when I ordered. I had seen the reviews about wait time and expected though I don't feel as though I waited long. I did place my order for hot food before getting in bakery line. The dining space was large and clean. Fairly standard table w/ 4 chairs setup throughout the store. Most people were waiting for their orders and would leave when they got them.

They have lowered the quality of the food a lot. Today 8/12/22 my dad bought an order of bean empanadas and the beans were salty and damaged and the corn Atol was salty. You must be very careful. Thank

?I always come here and it has been a good experience with the place and the food, unfortunately today was the exception. At 4:15 pm I went in to order and there was no cashier, a lady came out to enter some numbers and returned to the kitchen without saying hello or asking what I needed. Then a lady came and took the order. The tamale I ordered was lukewarm, they gave me pupusas without cabbage or sauce. They forgot to give me the coffee I ordered. When they finally corrected it, it turned out that the cabbage was salty, there was no longer any milk for the coffee and no one around to tell them. It seems that there is a meeting behind and they don't come out to attend. The women's bathroom was dirty, there was no toilet paper anywhere. The trash can was overflowing with dirty papers that people had used as toilet paper. I told one of the waitresses who took it as normal and did nothing to correct it. I hope next time it will be an excellent experience and that they will serve you well. It would be a shame if they were closed for not serving the clientele and the restaurant properly. I asked for the supervisor who they told me was Xiomara but she had already gone to rest at home? the owner was nowhere to be found. At the moment I cannot recommend this place. ? ✋
After visiting El Salvador this summer and falling in love with Pupusas this is the real deal!!It may not be Pupuseria Geisy in El Zonte in atmosphere or efficiency but the taste comes close.Highly recommend!!!!
