I absolutely agree with Ravi B. that this place is deserving of a higher rating. My family and I came here for lunch on our way home from Greenville, after stopping by a super popular joint nearby that had a 45- to 50-minute wait for lunch. We partook in the lunch specials, ordering the chicken tenders kid's meal (subbing fries with rice and beans), burrito grande (with steak and black beans) lunch special, and the Tex-Mex lunch special (you pick two from a list of items) with a beef brisket taco on soft corn tortilla and a chicken tamal. Our friendly server brought us chips and salsa to start. Our kid loves chips and was starving from the drive, so he dived in head-first. Everything was delicious, particularly the adults' meals. The rice and beans were just as fine as other Mexican restaurants that we love. The nuggets were of the ground white meat variety, and our kid is sort of picky and prefers the non-ground meat version. So he ate some at first due to his raging hunger but then tucked into some of the brisket off of my taco to round out his lunch. (No worries, his dad and I with less refined tastes took the chicken chunks home to finish, haha.) We would come back whenever in the area, especially since there is a nice outdoor patio. Don't overlook this place for a satisfying Mexican meal with welcoming service in downtown Lawrenceville.
Great and cozy place. Servers are super helpful
Carnitas were not too good, they were soggy, and saltier then expected. But what I would give 5 stars to are the tacos. If I had known they were gonna be this good I would've gotten more instead of the carnitas. DEF recommend the tacos
Good service. Food not so much. Salsa is watery and tasteless. Menu needs better quality selections. Cadillac margarita was excellent. It was my first time there.Server was very helpful and gave suggestions. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The white bean soup has slices of hot dogs in it. I guess it supposed to be sausage but clearly not.Go and judge for yourself. I will only be back for a drink not for food.
Great prices! good food! What else do you want! Love the downtown square in lawrenceville. nice location!
We used the upstairs event room for a birthday party. We had a great time.Thank you too all who was involved and for making our celebration one to remember!!
I really like their crazy taco salad with chicken. It's huge!
The taquitos were good. Cold beer, great atmosphere, and quality service. Love this hometown spot!
Best traditional tacos we ever had. Great pour on the margaritas. Server is a great guy. Let us take our time after our meal and enjoy the drinks. Never felt rushed to leave or pay. 5 star experience. First time at this location.
I gave two stars because the server was friendly. Other than that the food here was terrible. It lacked flavor, it tasted precooked, and was not fresh. I am a taco aficionado and these street tacos will never compare to any authentic street carts in NY. I would recommend finding a better tasting taco spot!
Always delicious! Always great service! Always cheap! Alcoholic drinks are always.... ?
I had a chicken burrito and my partner had fajitas. It was a very busy day and there were a few hiccups getting our food out, but the servers were polite and running their butts off. I could tell it was going to be worth the wait by how packed it was and the upbeat atmosphere. I will definitely go back.
Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had! Great variety of Mexican beers, efficient service, and like I said, delicious food. I wish I still lived in Georgia so I could go there all the time.
Good food. Could do better with seating for social distancing. Huge restaurant but sat everyone close in one section.
Love there texas dip almost as much as i oove the rest of their food drinks are grea too
