Good customer service. Average soulfood. I typically expect for soulfood to be scratch made/homemade, especially the classic soulfood items. I suspect the cornbread is boxed Jiffy and greenbeans canned. Some desserts outsourced from NJ company. Mac & cheese was pretty good.Food seasoned decent though and affordable prices.

The food is always great; the yams are my favorite. You get a lot of food for the price and the staff are always pleasant.
Absolutely love their food. I have been here multiple times and the food & lemonade never disappoint.I was devastated to find out that they are now closed!! ? Did they move or are they shut down!?? Please bring it back!!!!!!!

I’m a Southern girl from Florida. I was raised on good soul food that my Mema put her heart into. But what I had for dinner tonight practically outshone her cooking. The fried ribs and smothered pork chop were so tender and seasoned perfectly. The rice and gravy was mouthwatering. The yams were tender and just as sweet as they should be. The black eyed peas were just amazing. And the macaroni and cheese? I was floored at how perfect it was. The biscuit were delicious.The final part of my meal was this beautiful slice of homemade strawberry cake. This was my favorite when I was growing up in my Memas house. This one took me back. I felt like I was a little girl sitting at her grandmothers table while eating this cake tonight. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love you put into your food. I even took the time to call and speak to the owner personally to tell him how happy his food made me. That’s how good it was. My husband is a truck driver and I travel with him all over the country. Getting back down south to my roots and enjoying a treat like this made for a perfect night.

Mr Moe was very pleasant and courteous. He offered me something to drink while I waited for my food. The food is cooked to order so it’s fresh and hot. I got the fried ribs and loved them. There’s a dipping the ribs and it delicious. I’ll definitely be going back.

My family and I were in town and stopped in for soul food. The food was great! The service was great! The music they were playing was great too! This husband and wife team does their thing! Definitely recommend.

The food is great and I can’t say this enough. Service was awesome even as a to-go order. I got the collard greens, Mac n cheese, fried tilapia, baked chicken, smothered chicken over rice, and smothered pork chops over rice. I was hungry so I started off in the car with the greens and tilapia. I thought it was good then. For dinner I had the test with my family and let’s just say it was awesome for real. So it tastes good starving and just regular I want some food. I’ll be sharing this with more to come.

We were promptly greeted as we entered and our order was taken very quickly considering they were filling rders for both pickup and those eating at the restaurant. My meat, cornbread & mac n cheese was tasty but the cabbage lacked flavor however the 2nd meal was fish and it was very chewy while the corn was bland.We will probably give it another try at a later date to see if anything has changed.
I'm sorry but if you're looking for quality barbecue this is not it. The baked beans were so acidic tasting I had to add my own sugar. The chicken and ribs had no flavor. My rib was burnt. Honestly the only thing that was decent was the yams

The reason for the 3 stars is strictly hours of operation.....lol they close at 7pm? They don't open til 2 on Sat and sun? The food is decent. Service is quick. Pork chops thin but tasty. 7.50 for a slice of cake is highway robbery....lol baked beans, catfish, black eye peas, greens all very good. Potato salad ? No thanks. The food get a 4 star but the hours of operation? Garbage.....Parking: Plenty of parking

Me and my son ate there for the 1st time yesterday and it was good. He had meatloaf, yams and mac and cheese and I had whole chicken, fish, rice w/gravy, collard greens and Mac and cheese. Dessert: sweet potato pie and banana pudding cake. We will be back!!!

Where to begin? I ordered Crispy Chicken, greens, yams, potatoe salad, cornbread and banana pudding cake.The cake and yams were the only two things that I can say was good. The collards were salty as was the potato salad. The chicken was so dry and I wish I could have taken some of the salt from the greens and applied it to the chicken. I ordered extra cornbread, which was burnt, but once I picked it off, it was ok. ??♀️

First time coming to this Restaurant. I was in the mood for some good soul food, and I have to say I was not disappointed at all. The food was fresh cooked. The gentleman that greeted us was very sweet and welcoming. He was very sweet towards my kids and while we waited he offered us drink and would make conversation with us, which I had told him I was new in town and we had just come back from a day trip. My kids food, was good- chicken strips with mac and cheese, and my son had to have fries but crispy and he loved them. And of course they were extremely happy to see cookies ? with it. My food was so good and I have to say I would go back again and recommend it. I missed the entrance at first but once I noticed where it was and went in, their food speaks for itself. Thank you for your kindness and fresh food ?.
