So my wife and myself had an opportunity to visit with NURI Japanese and Korean restaurant on sugar loaf and ohhhhh my gosh what a gem of a restaurant. This has got to be lawrenceville's best kept secret. We frequent restaurants every weekend, Saturdays and Sundays are our days to eat out. We tried this place for the very first time and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. It was a dining experience to remember. First of all, when we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted warmly by whom we discovered later was the wife of the owner. It is a family -owned restaurant. The restaurant itself was immaculate. The restrooms were very clean. It reminded me of my own home. The sushi was fresh. I had the seafood udon soup my wife had the shrimp and chicken udon soup. Very delicious to the taste! We will definitely be visiting this restaurant more often. The owner is one of the chefs and his son was also a greater. I recommend if you have not gone to NURI Japanese and Korean restaurant on Sugarloaf you need to go. I promise you you will not be disappointed. If I could rate them 10 stars, I would! The man at the front was so sweet and accommodated my late pickup order that was absolutely DELICIOUS!! 100% recommend!
One of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant hands down! Jeffrey our server and his family gave a smile at every meeting and were willing to accommodate whatever my husband and I needed before we even asked. The food was flavorful without being salty. I especially love this because those who want to add soy sauce can do so without ruining the dish. The chicken teriyaki was the best I have had, i usually think its too sweet. The seaweed salad was beautifully served in a martini glass. Presentation on everything was beautiful. This family owned restaurant made us feel like family. 10/10
Absolutely amazing. I went with my mom, dad, and brother and we all agreed this would be our go to place to get this kind of food. The staff was extremely friendly with nothing but smiles. The wait was quick although maybe because it was just us and someone else, but the food was amazing and definitely worth every penny. If I could rate this place higher than 5 stars, I would. 10/10, would definitely come back

I'm so happy we stumbled on this gem. Nuri is a beautiful restaurant with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and wonderful hosts. Jeffrey and Kimberly took great care of us, making sure we enjoyed every moment of our visit here. The food was sooo good, I labeled each picture so you guys can enjoy the burst of flavor just as we did. Can't wait to come back!

Most of your good and authentic Korean food is in the Duluth area so it's nice having a place in the Lawrenceville/Snellville area. My wife and I have had their Bibimbap (hot stone and regular)...not bad, with bulgogi, crispy rice and flavorful selection of vegetables. I'll keep going back to try new items. This last time the Udon. So far, very good. Sushi is fresh and tasty too. This place could easily become our neighborhood hangout for a quick bite to eat. Next time we are going to try their Ramen.
