I was in the area and decided to go there for dinner. Well, they have two choices on their menu’s Jamaican or African food so I choose the African Light Soup and Fufu. I was very pleased with my choice of food. The food was great and the service was excellent. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I’m leaving a rating of 3, because people tend to gravitate towards bad reviews first. But know this, I love love love the food here. I’ve been here four times within a month. When I went back, ( Mouth watering ) it was closed for renovations!!!!!!Supposed to reopen in two weeks. Well it’s been about a month. Can y’all please hurry up with these renovations? Trust me, the food and atmosphere are wonderful. I can’t wait to dine there again.

This place is 11min from our house and we didn't know about it until searching Yelp. Great food, service and prices not bad for the quality. Definitely going back soon

I am not sure what has happened since they first opened until now, but I ordered food Saturday night and disappointment does not begin to describe how I felt. I ordered via Doordash around 8pm, the app said they were taking orders until 8:40pm. After about 10 minutes I noticed the restaurant did not confirm my order ( this is NOT the first time this has happened), so I called them and the woman who answered literally went back and forth with me saying they were about to close, she was not sure if they had this item or that item. I hear a gentleman in the back and she says "we can make it for you". As if she is doing me a favor, I ordered from DoorDash who clearly had your hours, so if you do not want to make food after 8pm, simply change it! The suya, which used to be my favorite dish was disgusting! Nothing but fat, hardly no seasoning. The peanut soup was such a small portion compared to what is given when you dine in, completely not worth the price. My fufu was not wrapped in plastic, so the outer layer was hardened..really? The curry goat was decent, but when I say the portion was small, you could see the bottom of the container. I asked for goat and chicken with my peanut soup, I had majority chicken, tough, dry chicken. This will be my LAST time here. Go to Ike's Cafe for African cusine, the food is consistent every time. You know what to expect and what you are getting every time you eat there.

Food has VERY flavorful. I enjoyed the oxtail dish, Jollof rice with chicken. I will definitely be back.

SUYA is absolutely amazing!! Will be back for that. Jollof was a bit disappointing, flavor was good but it’s so crunchy . Portion size decent

Pretty nice place...... good vibes all through out! We ended up grabbing lunch at this spot and they did did not disappoint. I ordered the curry chicken and it was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection, the flavors were right on point. I also ordered a side of plantains, I believe they were fried and not cooked down the way I like them, they were not bad, just different. The service was great, our waitress was really attentive and nice. According to the menu. they have Fish Fry Friday's and some other event on Sundays, I will definitely have go check them out.

Save your money or find another place to eat. I order j*** chicken and rice and peas Togo and it was horrible. The chicken was dry and burnt. The rice and peas was old and lacked flavor. Wasted $16 on food I couldn’t eat.

The lady who introduced herself as owner was very nasty. She became irritated when I explained that it was my first time trying African food. The lady who introduced herself as owner was very nasty. Clearly your reply to this review shows how unprofessional you are…no wonder there’s was not a single soul in your restaurant on a Saturday night… was that a threat? About your lawyer reviewing the camera?I didn’t come to eat but did I go there to train ur unprofessional staff? They cleaned and served us, is that not what a restaurant staff does? Were we supposed to clean and serve our own food? You clearly don’t even know what your business entails.. Instead of you finding ways to improve your services and customer base..that’s what u do instead? Did the camera show that we didn’t pay for our food??Good luck with your business but definitely not a “SANBRA” experience

Best jollof I've ever eaten. My meal was delicious, I highly recommend this restaurant!

Coolest spot for West African (Ghanaian) dishes. I helped myself to a delicately prepared and served meal that made my stomach happy and my heart sing! I love the atmosphere. This is a delightful place to dine and chill! I think I overdid it by ordering additional food to go!

I ordered the goat stew with Jollof rice. Delicious and fresh. It was so good I went twice in the same week to get it again.

Jollof rice is really good here. The suya was a bit on the salty side, but maybe that's how some people prefer it. Overall, everyone should try this place out. But, I recommend choosing a day when you have time to spare. The food take a while to come out, but worth it.
