I have used Tropical Delights Catering, and I met the owners who delivered the food. It was overall a great experience.They encouraged me to use them again. I have used them several times since then, yet recently I was truly disappointed, as I booked them through EZCater on 05/17/21 Monday am at 6:06 am. Everything had been confirmed was ready to go for 16 person delivery at 1145 am on Thursday, May 20th. My order was cancelled that am by Tropical Delights @ 8:21 am, and I received the message after 9 am. My company did not allow us to pick up food, so I had to find a delivery in that short of time. EZCater told me the owner just said we realized we couldn’t make it in time, and our delivery would be rather late???!!” I know there is a shortage of staff, and I have had some experiences right in the beginning of COVID with some issues, but we always got it worked out well in advance. This felt like an excuse, and i called the owner that am of 05/20, and i asked for a call back and an explanation before I wrote a terrible review, and she never called me back. It takes me a lot to write a negative review, yet this warranted it. I will never use this business again, and I do a lot of $$ lunches. Thank you.

We had a fantastic experience with Julie and Tropical Delights. They were so communicative while we planned our event, responding promptly, adjusting to changes with no problems. We got a great price, plus great service. We had 3 nights of catered dinner at our company retreat and each one was a big hit. Hope to be able to work with them again soon!
