the pizza is usually good this time it was undercooked as well as the breadsticks. which i should have expected when i called like 20 minutes after ordering and being told it was ready. usually rate through the link provided through text. however didn't receive one possibly due to ordering online.update: i had to increase the rating i dropped it in the oven for a bit and it was still delicious. bad rating for disappointment of having to cook it more and that dry chicken philly they gave me once before. was made with dry rotisserie chicken and no mayo or anything just cheese and onion.

I mean... The best pizza and wings in Dekalb -legit! I've been eating Davidos since '97 and it still busts! The only thing I don't like about the atmosphere is that the inside isn't open anymore. You're standing on the sidewalk wailing for your food. Ion like that.

I went to this place twice days in a row and it's great. The pizza is amazing and I love it. It's not open to the public right now but you can call in and place an order at the window.

I typically leave 5-star reviews and always strive to find the positives in food establishments, but unfortunately, my experience at Davidos in Lithonia, GA, has been consistently disappointing. The most recent issue involved a missing meal from my order, which I only realized after I had left the premises. Upon contacting the restaurant, they assured me they would rectify the mistake the next day.When I returned the following day to collect the replacement dish and add another to my order, I was met with further frustration. Despite being told it would be ready shortly, I ended up waiting for an extended period. Upon revisiting the counter, the staff member, instead of addressing the situation professionally, laughed continuously upon realizing the error had occurred again. I attempted to convey the seriousness of the matter, emphasizing that it was not a laughing matter, especially considering it was the second mistake in consecutive days.The lack of empathy and appropriate behavior from the counter staff was evident, as the laughter continued even when I expressed my dissatisfaction. I ultimately decided to forgo the additional item I had intended to purchase, as I had already invested over 30 minutes in this ordeal. I urge the ownership and management to instill higher standards for their counter personnel, emphasizing the importance of empathy and proper communication. The laughter, which seemed inappropriate and unprofessional, detracted from an already frustrating experience of dealing with two consecutive errors in my order.

I've been patronizing Davido's for over 10 years and for the past few years the service has been horrible.I ordered a pineapple and chicken pizza tonight and immediately could tell something was wrong. I tasted a slice and it smelled funny but thought I was overthinking so I started eating another slice and immediately spit it out because it tasted and smelled like liquor. I took all of the pineapples off of the pizza and smelled them and because they all looked mushy and smelled strange I went online and upon my research discovered they are fermented and have gone bad and that's where the horrible smell and taste are from.I am hoping I don't get food poisoning or suffer a stomachache tonight after eating the few that I did eat. I've attached a photo of the remnants after I spit up the slice and also the pizza after pulling the fermented, bad pineapples off.I've spent upwards of $1,000 at this restaurant over the years and have been so displeased with my orders both through DoorDash and in person, I refuse to continue to support a black owned restaurant that clearly doesn't care about the kind of service or the quality of food they are feeding into the community.
