Just a good old fashioned country cafe. The food is good and fresh, cooked to order so have some patience. Its not fancy nor is it trying to be. You'll leave full and it wont cost you an arm and a leg. Sit down and enjoy and read the numerous signs they have as decor and enjoy a conversation with your waitress.
Excellent southern home cooking!! Come on music night, third Wednesday each month. Music and a food plate and soft drink, tea or coffee and homemade desserts! One donation to cover cost of food and cost of band. One plate du jour for music night food. Take it or leave it. I didn't see anyone leave it! Drinks are served when you arrive, then all the dinner plates at once whenever they are ready to serve. Highly recommended!

Everytime I go here I feel welcome and The food is good but the feeling of a hometown atmosphere where the owners both always speak and it's just comforting and always enjoyable to me.Kid-friendliness: Great! They love the baby's
