I was traveling and stopped for dinner. It was 7:30. I stood at the hostess stand. I listened to a server getting off joking about her tips for the day with the gentleman standing at the register. Manager, I assumed. I picked up my own menu and started looking at it. Saw several servers and workers wandering around the floor. No one acknowledged my presence. Finally, after seeing this girl talk to several of the servers and was just wandering around , I flagged her down and asked if they were still open, and she said yea, are you alone? I said yes. She sat me at a table in the middle of the dining room. The only table that did not have a candle lit. It took another long wait for someone to wait on me, and another long wait for the food. It was a country veggie plate and a salad. I got the veggie plate, cold. Then she forgot the salad, but offered to bag it for me to take with me. I could understand if they were busy, but they were Not! 5 other tables with as many servers. I Love and always want to stop at Cracker Barrel, but none of my children or grandchildren like it. So I thought, being alone, this would be the perfect opportunity to be able to go. I guess this was a great way to prove to me I am not missing that much when no one wants to go there with me :(

I was already a regular visitor to the Cracker Barrel chain before today. The service, quality of food, expedience of delivery, and superb professional care made this by far the best experience at a Cracker Barrel my family and I have had. Thanks so much for everything. Ms. Pam.... you are amazing. The amount of care and genuineness you showed us definitely made an impact. One of the BEST managers in and/or out of the restaurant business. ?

Food tasted ok. Our waitress disappeared for the 1 hour we waited for food. Had to wave other waitresses down for coffee refills.

The waiter was great. The food was so so. The pancakes had black spots from the grill all over them. I ordered 2 eggs and it looked like 1. The manager said it was two eggs. I dont know how he determined that. The manager however did replace the pancakes and gave me another egg. Update: April 14.. I visited the store and it was very dirty. I got there around 3 pm and trash was all over the floor. After notifying the hostess, someone came and swept around my table but the rest of the place around me was dirty. I ordered my regular Mommas Breakfast and my 3 pancakes came prepared 3 different ways. One was very light and small, one was just right, and the last one was the right size but burnt on one side. I spoke with the manager and she said it was not burnt. She asked me did I want another pancake. I told her no because if she couldn’t recognize it was burnt, the next one could come out the same way. I was simply disappointed on several levels with the restaurant on this visit. I left the restaurant and paid for my bill and my brother’s bill. I will not be patronizing Cracker Barrel again.

Our server was more than excellent! She was extraordinary! The selection on your menu is continuing to delete my food selections . It’s sadDietary restrictions: I am allergic to cloven hooves meats. Your try at vegan friendly sausage is appreciated, but failed taste test. Why remove oatmeal? Why remove fruit parfait?why remove fruit?!
I order chicken tenders and carrots. Took an hour to get them.

5p…Monday. Fish filet was delish..taste and temp,Grits looked pretty but was lumpy…eek!…, coleslaw was ok..cut be smaller bites cut, biscuit was ok.So all in all my visit was ok. Just ok.

Every aspect of my visit was excellent except trying to place my order by phoning it in! I called on my trip to store and stayed on hold for the entire trip waiting on a server to pick up and take my orders. Unfortunately I arrived at the restaurant an walked up to the counter with phone in hand when the cashier picked up again and told me on the phone that she would ring the server again but I told her not to worry about it because I was standing behind her ! Thankfully she got a server out there quickly and my food was delivered to me in record time but wasn’t a fan of staying on hold for maybe 12 - 15 minutes and seeing that the restaurant was not crowded and very few cars in the parking lot.
