Great little out of the way restaurant! Recommended by antique shop owner and did not disappoint. Casual atmosphere and great selection of food from sandwiches to seafood, also good prices.

First visit and a pleasant surprise. Local, friendly environment with welcoming feel. Haylee behind the bar was a ball of energy preparing drinks, taking orders, and answering phone. Place was swamped, but service was efficient, timely, and professional. Food was delicious, and dining experience much enjoyed. Will certainly be back!

A party of 3 came here, for the first time, excited to try something new and use our Beck Motors Dinner Certificate. We sat down and noticed no one came to our table, so we went to grab the waitress, we ordered drinks, and 2 appetizers. Later we noticed she kept bouncing around to different tables. I also noticed the waitress just visiting away with another woman at a big table, I thought I myself she wasn’t really being time efficient. Finally she gave us 2 waters but not our sodas. She said she would bring those over, along with our appetizers. We waited…. later, she was at other tables again, and didn’t pop in at our table, unfortunately. Finally we looked around and noticed we seemed to be neglected. We waited a little longer, looking around and noticing a lack hospitality. So we decide to up and leave. I myself, out of our party of 3 went to tell the waitress that we’re leaving. The energy here seems to only be inviting to folks who are friends of people who work here.

The place needs a reboot. They had CNN on one of the tv's instead of a game. Some 16 yr old girl behind the bar had a nasty attitude the whole time I was there towards her job an a customer. Warm draft beer as well.

Good old neighborhood hole in the wall. Good cook on everything. Family friendly, but also, a nice get away from the family! Daily specials are a hidden gem kind of thing. Highly recommend the GENEROUS portion of Brussels sprouts if you need some fiber and low cholesterol in your life lol. Diverse menu but mainly good old southern cooking. Fish and chips for the win. Lots of laughter. Just own it when you go in, make conversation, kick back and relax.

Took my mother out there to eat for her birthday and she ordered the fried cod the tomato was soured the card did not taste right on all four of our five of our plates they served us cold soggy fries that have been sitting like under the warmer they could at least have the decency to deep fry the frys again for a couple of minutes to make damn at least be warm or hot put a little bit of Christmas back to them

When we got there, we were told there was a 20-30 minute wait. No problem. While waiting, one family went directly to a table and sat down without a word from staff, or to the staff. Weird, maybe they own the joint. Eventually we were seated. The young lady took our drink order and they came back fairly quickly. Looking good! We spent some time looking at the menus, then a little more, then some more. The waitress stopped by and said, "I am really sorry, we're so busy, I'll be right back to take your order, don't worry, I got you". Once it was clear we had the whole menu memorized word for word, the young lady came to take our order. We did get a drink refill, but the empty glasses stayed on our table. After what seemed like an hour, watching the restaurant empty out and the people who came in after us were already finishing their meal, our waitress stopped by to say, "I'm so sorry, I don't know what happened, but the kitchen lost your order. I'll get them to get it out as fast as possible. Don't worry, I got you". After that, the food came out pretty quickly. Not sure how she remembered what was on our lost order, but we got the food we originally ordered. My Player's Deluxe Burger, or whatever it's called, was excellent. Fries were excellent. My wife's fries were excellent. Not sure what the other people in our dinner party thought about their food, but I do know they weren't happy about the service.A couple more observations, since we had so much time to observe, there was one member of the staff who was in late 20s or early 30s who was working her tail off. The other two young ladies, one of which was our waitress, were looking at social media on their phone, talking and laughing about a goth girl they don't like. It was very unflattering on those two kids.
Great quality food! Onion rings and burgers were awesome! And the horseradish dipping sauce....YUMMY!
