Just called the number on the website to see if they were open. He says to me, “Nawl baby I’m at work”. So I ask him what days are you open? He reply’s, “I guess whenever I feel like it, KEKEKE”.

Our hotel, the Hampton Inn- Fort Benning, comped us a $50 gift card for Houlihan's. Houlihans used to be everywhere back in the fern bar days, but neither of us had seen one in years and assumed they were long gone. That's not the case in Columbus where Houlihans is located in a nice downtown hotel.

I gave this a 3 star rating to be fair because I was turned off by its location and appearance. They may have good food but I will never know because I didn't go in. I think they are more in to catering than serving the general public.

My favorite place in Macon for fresh off the grill barbeque ribs. Tender, nice size, seasoned to perfection. . . tasty even w/out sauce. Bread and chips added. Very reasonably priced!!

I'm posting this just after wolfing down The pork ribs, pulled pork, collard greens, coleslaw, and corn bread. The ribs are great, the perfect amount of bite and smokiness. The pulled pork was excellent. I recommend the hot BBQ sauce, it's not too spicy but is mustard based and has the right amount of tang. Both meats are good with and without the sauce. Collard greens were on point. The coleslaw was pretty good, and the corn bread was ok. Get there early because the sell out quickly. The guy and his son were very friendly.
