Such a soft classy restaurant!!! I’m from Atlanta and invest in Macon, so while I am down I try every restaurant. However Pearl was on my top list, and I had high hopes. The service /atmosphere for restaurants is 5 star but the food did not match the price. I would suggest the owner start paying special attention to the food’s temperature and taste. The $9 yeast rolls need to be swapped out for tastier bread. I traveled the world and never had bread that offended me the way these large rolls did, they were hard, and were microwaved before they gave them to us. Next was the steak frites, the fries were perfect while our steak was not-hot and chewy. It seems to me most restaurants especially in Macon do not believe in bringing the food hot to the table. I think the owner should help the chef/cook focus on the food taste/quality/temperature

We just went there (after getting a recommendation) at 8:15 & opened the door & they said they were closed... almost 2 hours earlier than the close time!!!

This place has a very unique menu, which I like. There are many different things to choose from with appetizers and entrées. We decided to try the yeast rolls with the different types of butters. They were heavenly. They were hot and soft. In fact I appreciate the temperature of all the food. It was all very hot and fresh. I also got the macaroni and cheese and the bass. Those items were okay. I feel they both couldn't been seasoned more. The sunflower seeds on the bass was interesting. My boyfriend got the crab cakes, grits, and rice. I can't recall the name of the rice right now, but it was a fried rice. It was delicious. Probably the best thing we ordered, besides the bread. The host and servers were really nice and attentive. I would go by to try different dishes.

Pearl is a great addition to the Downtown Macon restaurant scene! Their menu transports you to far away destinations - whether you want a cocktail, appetizer, entree, or dessert. I highly recommend starting with the Crab Rangoon Dip or the Japanese Milk Bread Yeast Rolls (with rotating house-made butters and preserves). They offer daily specials, but make sure you save room for their homemade desserts.

We visited Pear Passionate while waiting for our event to start (crossing the street). Our waiter was friendly and we tried the tuna tarta, it was so GOOD, I also tried the coquito (season drink from PR) it was good too. We also tried the fries with duck fat (nothing Wao there). The place was busy, and we couldn't wait for the food. They understood both parties apologies, so if you're going to an event an hour might not be enough. I believe it is worth trying, even if we didn't get our main entrance. The service is on point.

Really delicious food. It is pricey, but the quality of the food is excellent. They have a great selection of specialty cocktails as well. We love going here for date nights. Be sure to make a reservation, though.

We had dinner for the first time tonight at Pearl and the overall experience was just ok. The cocktails were good and the yeast rolls were exceptional, the wife was happy with her pork chop and the cheese grits were good with a smoky flavor, my sea bass was very thin and a bit boring but properly cooked. The waitress was nice but not familiar with the job and lacking in knowledge of the menu and attentiveness. Our biggest problem was the noise level, the owners have failed to install desperately needed sound absorption materials to combat the ridiculously loud atmosphere in a building with so many hard surfaces, we were yelling at each other over the crowd and there was music playing but you wouldn't know unless you went to the restroom, our ears were ringing as if we had just walked out of a Nine Inch Nails concert.

Wow! My boyfriend and I had an amazing evening at Pearl. I believe our waiter was Zach (or Jack!). We had the Tuna Tartare for an appetizer and I had the pork chop with the Filipino rice and I can not say enough good things about my meal (insert chef’s kiss). The pork chop was so tender and the rice had the perfect garlic seasoning. My BF had the steak, duck fat potatoes and the radishes (who knew the radishes could be so tasty?).As far as drinks, he had the New York Sour and I had the Espresso Martini. Kudos to the bartender! We also met Ashley, the owner, and she was very sweet and genuinely wanted to know about our experience. We will be back!

Fantastic restaurant in downtown Macon. From the drinks to the food it was fabulous. From the bar we got an Espresso Martini and a New York Sour. I love whiskey sours and this was a great version. We started with the Tuna Tar-tare. Great appetizer. It was marinated perfect and served on a bed of avocado with plantain chips. For dinner we got the Prime Cab Steak and the Double Cut Pork Chop with fried rice, roasted turnips, and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious but I have to say I have never tasted a pork chop soooo tender. OMG, you didn't even need teeth to eat it, that's how tender it was. I also have never had roasted radishes and they were awesome. Great date night spot, with awesome food, drinks and service.

The food was Devine. I had the country steak (can't remember the official name), country it was not! The steak was served sliced and covered in blueberries and goat cheese. It looked daunting but the combination of the goat cheese and blackberries was superb! Another member of our party had the pork chop with fig sauce. He had zero complaints and said it,too, was great! The third party had chichi grilled cheese. Who would have thought of that combo? NOT me. We are going to try to recreate this at home. Everything they served was absolutely tasty! Highly recommend having a dinner here. I wish their chairs were a bit more padded but seriously my only complaint!

Super interesting food and mixed drinks. Service is amazing, feels like dining with friends. So lovely to be able to sit outside in a quieter spot downtown!

By far the best place to eat in Macon. Pepper biscuits and gravy are exceptional. Cocktails are refreshing. Best service around. You can expect quality the whole experience.

What a great find! We were staying downtown and found this amazing little restaurant, which gave us an incredible meal from drinks to dessert. The staff and chef could not have been more passionate about their restaurant and it showed in every aspect. Visiting from Savannah, which has endless options for dining, this little gem could go toe to toe. Her take on creativity with the dishes in combination of flavors and availability of fresh produce was delicious. Do not pass on the dessert! The twist on cheese cake was nothing I have ever experienced. The bread pudding was delicious as well with all the flavors of autumn making it stand out too. We will definitely be back. Thank you all for a wonderful evening!
