Ordered. Waited 15 mins. Got told they didnt have the desert we ordered. Waited another 15 mins. Got told they didn’t have one of the sides. Waited 15 more minutes. People that came in after us got their food. Waited 5 more minutes and get told they couldn’t make one of our main courses. Asked for a refund. Staff acted annoyed like we were rude for asking for a refund on a meal that was going to be 50% missing.

Honestly this place has gone down hill this year. We were the only ones in the restaurant. 20 minute wait after ordering for them to tell us they didn’t have any rice. They brought fries instead. The food was okay but the service was so bad…

It won't be long before this place goes out of business if the owner/manager allows three teenagers to run his/her establishment. I had a very simple order. Shrimp pita on wheat and no onions with grilled vegetables. There were 4 shrimp on my pita and they used a flour pita not wheat. The vegetables tasted like they were placed in a microwave not grilled. The carrots were still hard, but they were charred....not to mention that I paid $12.95. Did I mention the food made my stomach hurt?The teenagers had absolutely no soft skills whatsoever. No hello, may I help you, thank you...nothing. One was listening to music via AirPods and the other two just appeared clueless. I understand good help is hard to find which is why the owner/manager should at least make themselves present. Look it's simple, follow the Chick-fil-A model....you can't go wrong. They perfected it and other restaurants should do the same if they desire business. Good luck with this place! It's evident the owner doesn't care. There is no response to the other reviews.

So I'll call in to place a pick up order and whoever answers the phone just says hello in the most unenthused voice that you've ever heard. Doesn't even say this is pita street food or anything. I have to actually ask her who I've called. Then I try to tell her my order and and it's like I'm inconveniencing her. Then I asked to add hummus and she literally says I don't know what you're talking about. I had to explain what hummus was. The food is great but the service is horrible. Someone needs to be holding these girls accountable. This is so sad

Showed up 15 minutes after they advertise being open. Waited outside for them to unlock. Staff very unfriendly and also getting dressed in their uniform as they walked through the restaurant. Experience not worth the high price for lunch. Won’t be coming back.

As others have said great concept poor execution. The staff could care less about their job. The minute you walk in you feel like your bothering them. Food consistency is hit or miss. Our Gyro's had the meat cubed, cubed. Should be sliced. Have eaten hear before and always was sliced. This place needs some management. Until they can get this fixed try Medi's Mediterranean, right around the corner. Locally owned and great Mediterranean food made by a great local family.

The very fist Pita that went up in Peachtree City was my goto restaurant for many years. I moved to Macon and was so excited when this store opened here, however the service and quality of this store is consistently horrible. The rarely get the order right and the employees are very lifeless and indifferent. The humus is supposed to be creamy and smooth and have oil and spice on top, that is all gone now, it has a pasty dry consistency and doesn't look appetizing. The salads use to be works of art, but they look like no effort is put into this anymore. I am just so disappointed. I really hate it, I really wan to see this franchise succeed because I know they can make great food, just not the Macon store. If you are ever in PTC try this store and you will know what I mean! I won't be back, I have given this store in Macon about a dozen chances and they failed me.

Please forgive me because I never complain: I went to your restaurant after being introduced to it by my daughter n law in another city. I loved the product and thought I would brings friends next week if Macon's was tasty. I was not greeted but I did say it was my 1st time there and what did I need to do? I was not familiar with the ordering process and was given no help. After awhile I finally got my order in .. tried to pay, many attempts asking those behind the counter what I was doing wrong. I finally walked around to the front and said "please help me". Your employee came, tried , then said "you can pay at the register". When I got to the register the same employee there was not one mention of "I'm sorry " they said "what do you want"? At that point I said "that's okay" and left. So sad that you are in the perfect location. It seemed as though I inconvenienced your employees today . To avoid embarrassment I want bring my group of friends next week.

way to expensive a signature gyro doesnt have lettuce tomatoes onion? seriously the staff very rude will never be back they were out of fries so my signature gyro was meat and gyro sauce on a pita THATS IT asked for more sauce had to pay an extra $1.02 Arbys has better gyros and a half the price with better service oh and did i mention FREE GYRO SAUCE

I ordered a gyro salad, half of the spring mix was rotten and when I informed the staff they didn't seem to care. I hate leaving bad reviews but the lettuce was rotten and the service was bad and slow. I hope they can start to better inspect the food and provide customer service training.
Excellent choice for a healthy lunch while traveling on the interstate! We had the gyro salad and salmon salads. They were delicious and the ratio of lettuce to protein and veggies, etc was perfect. The salads were very aesthetically pleasing, as well! I was so excited to eat I forgot to take a photo of the good! I'm not a fan of chains, but this one hit the spot!

If you come and it’s empty…do not let that stop you or fool you! It’s deli. I had the steak shawarma plate with rice and grilled veggies flour pita. It was flavorful and delicious!!Update 6/24/22: didn’t think it could get better. Ordered steak shawarma platter. Employee came to me and indicated she cooked it but was not comfortable serving it due to quality! Offered to make me anything else I wanted. Some other places wouldn’t have done this. I am grateful and pleased.

This is a great concept with a great and fresh look but the experience is terrible. I'm here right now and there is no music on so it's dead quiet and not an exciting environment at all. Two ladies behind the counter 1 cashier almost out when we went to order. 1 person cooking. Food took forever. 1 order came out and it was a gyro with cold meat? Not sure if it was supposed to be hot but it wasn't. The kid'a meals came out about 6 min after that and then another steak gyro came out another 5 min after that. We were the only customers in the space at that time minus a delivery driver picking up an order that was already being cooked by the time we got there so it was pretty much us. The lady cooking is checking and sending text messages while she's behind the line. All in all, someone needs to be leading every shift. Someone has to be in charge and actually trying to work with a sense of urgency. I don't blame them. I blame the owners that are allowing this to happen. They don't need reprimand, they need standards and accountability. Get it together.

I just spent almost $50 on an order I placed for pickup at the Macon, GA location. Once I got home, I realized I couldn’t eat my Gyro Bowl because the rice wasn’t cooked. Seriously. It wasn’t even cooked a little bit. They didn’t even try. Might as well have opened up a raw bag of rice and tried to eat it.Also, my extra side of pita bread that I ordered wasn’t in the bag.Basically, they took my money and ripped me off. I live one mile from the location and I’ll never be back. Nor will anyone I know.
