Wonderful experience went in to grab a rottesirre chicken and the woman who is normally back there her name is Shelavon is very courteous and sweet as always. Hate when she is not there because there are never any chickens available and the young man that works back I'm assuming on her days off is not that helpful.Again Kuddos to Shelavon

Sam's club is overall a great place to shop at in the Macon , ga area they have a great staff of friendly faces and cashiers . But it's one girl who works there she suppose to be a manger or something has a nasty attitude doesn't help out at the membership desk when the ladies need her help it can be flat out busy and she'll walk away and get on her phone . I was standing in line with a great friend of mines and over heard a conversation of her telling another employe somebody else business that's not a great look for the Walmart company . I'll continue to shop only when she's not at work ! Her name is Jeya or some like that

This Sam's Club has everything that you would expect from the Sam's brand. The store is newish and usually pretty well kept when I go. I am always able to find everything I need. I hate that I have to come all the way to Macon but this seems to be one of the only ones in middle Georgia. The location is bad because it is hard to get in and out of and because it is the only Sam's, you have to be very strategic when you go. It is almost always packed and let's face it, many people that shop at Sam's are annoying because they forget how to walk in straight lines and share space.Three stars because there should be another entrance to this location to make getting here safer. Also because they only ship to local Macon so I can't order groceries :(Other than that, it's cool.

Wouldn’t recommend this club. I bought 1k worth of tires and have attempted to get the balanced 7 times. Each time I’m told they are short staffed and I’ll need an appointment. Each time I have an appointment they call and cancel it due to no staffing. 0 out of 5 starts from me.

I visited the Sam's Club in Macon on 2/24/23. I'm a plus member, so I enjoy going in early. The self checkout is fine when I only have a few items and I use it quite often. This particular morning I had a problem with the payment. There were three employees standing a few feet away talking with each other. I assumed they were suppose to help customers if they noticed a problem with self checkout. I looked in their direction and one of the young ladies made eye contact with me, then proceeded to continue the conversation. I stood there at the checkout for awhile because I couldn't figure out what the problem was. The same young lady looked at me again, but never came over to ask if she could help. Needless to say, after about ten minutes, I figured out the problem and was able to finish checking out.It's very frustrating when employees are just standing around like they have nothing to do and don't even acknowledge customers. I worked in customer service for many years, and it's very important to me. If I, along with hundreds of other customers, no longer shop in this store, this young lady would not have a job; therefore, I should be treated with respect. No one seems to care about customer service anymore, and it's sad.

Never any ice-cream or frozen yogurt at the Sam's food court. Every time that I go, it's like that. They either don't have it or it's a bigger problem of the employees lying. Get it back or take it off the menu! Also the fountain drinks were all out last time and the whole machine was shutdown! Some employees at the food court seem to have an attitude and the line is slow. The fountain drink area is not checked often. Several drink options were out even before they shut it down. This Sam's club is doing a lot of things right, but the good court not one of them. A lot of people have canceled or not renewed their membership because of this. They just see shopping online at Costco a better deal since this Sam's is slow on the perks. I like that Sam's club has a scan and go option to checkout via phone app. It's probably the best member benefit.

Warehouse shopping as expected. Now Sam's is no Costco but it is certainly close. I can always count on the best quality products. Yes, one must buy in bulk but that's the point of the store. This business model saves me a lot of money in the long run, it's just that shopping day can sting a little. Most of the staff are Pleasant but of course every encounter can not be golden when people are overworked in a hectic environment. I do highly recommend Sam's club. There is and annual fee but the cash back program easily offsets that.

store manager Ray Shannon of store 8225 macon ga refuses to help customers with returning items. I purchased a storage shed yesterday and it does not fit where I need it so I contacted customer service. they told me I can return the shed fully assembled in store and get a refund since the item is not damaged. the store manager refused to take them back and refuses to provide a reason. corporate advised them of their own company policy of the returns and the manager refused to speak with them. he made CS call him on the store line and then went to hide in an office where I was unable to hear his conversation and says he will not provide a reason why he denied my return. this is $700 I need back. I can not use the item and yet they will not return it.

Don't expect managers to do what they say. Lied to.Wasted my time and money. Store manager was rude and unprofessional. Doesn't really matter if you leave a bad review these days, no one really cares about helping people anymore, or anything at all.

I have been part of a business account for years. In the past two years I have been deleted from the account by the person working at Sam's. Then I go and can't get what I need. We are an hour away so the boss has to go to get me put back on the account. This can't be done over the phone. No one know what's going on at customer service. The manger has to be called every time. Even then sometimes he/she doesn't have a clue. Sam's better get it together. I can't believe the level of stupidity or maybe incompetence that is allowed work. Costco will destroy you if it every comes, hopefully to north Macon.

I thought about not giving this review because I am optimistic. As you can see, I have written plenty of positive reviews for other companies but after multiple visits to this location, I have to provide an honest review. This Sam's Club is the most unprofessional store I have ever visited. The customer service is trash. I don't know where they find these people. Several times I've come here with little to no assistance when I need it. I have been told multiple times "that's not my job" or "I don't know, that's not my department". They didn't even point me in the right direction. After helping me get my television into my husband's truck, I was told I had to put the cart back myself. I don't mind doing that but I was told that by the men who push carts and they were sitting around dancing. This was my fourth visit and I've only been greeted once. I could go on but that's all for now. They really need to get it together. And as for the woman working behind "pick up" today, she didn't cover her mouth while coughing and wasn't any hand sanitizer on the counter. Just gross.

The gas attendant had to be the rudest person I have encountered in along time. Very sad hiring process for a place you have to pay to be a member. I did not purchase gas, and will be canceling my membership! Rudeness is the only nice way to put it.

They were selling there Rotisserie chicken burnt. Called 7 times to tell them and they won't answer the phone. They keep hanging up on me.
