We decided to take our family out to dinner. Sushi was desired so we chose this restaurant to try. Per our girls, the sushi was pretty good. My son ordered ? tempura appetizer and recieved 2 shrimp ? and was overcharged even after informing the waitress . My husband and I order the Sumo Special: rice & noodles were burnt, steak (filet migNOT) was fatty, chicken was tough, lobster was gummy, shrimp were ok, vegetables were ok. The manager informed us that he could not take it off, because it was too expensive for them. Instead he offered to recook the entire dinner, which we declined. We settled with paying half price of the Sumo special which was still too much. Let's not mention the automatic gratuity for the rushed service when there was barely any customers ?.

The service and the staff were excellent however the manager is rude and inconsiderate my fiance is allergic to shellfish and when we ordered the sushi it looked like it could have shellfish in it so I tried three pieces that looked like they could contain shellfish I got charged which I did not dispute and understood fully would I have a problem with is he did not even verify that they did not have shellfish after I voiced my concerns making sure that my fiance was safe.

We came to try the all you can eat sushi, which starts after 3:3pm Monday - Friday for $25.99 per person, and we're so glad we did!First, service was great. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Also, food comes out quickly and is extremely fresh and made to order.The all you can eat menu has a ton of options, from apps to rolls and even included hibachi entrees. We tried multiple rolls and enjoyed every one of them.Overall, the value is great and we will definitely be back.

I went and had sushi last night at sumo with my wife. It was very delicious, service was great and a atmosphere was pleasant as well. Jenny's son always runs a good business. I will not hesitate to go back and eat there again.
Sushi is the best! While this place isn't much to look at, the charming staff and delicious food explain why Sumo keeps customers coming back, and has become a Macon favorite! Looking forward to our next visit.

The food was wonderful! Had the all you can eat Sushi. It was delicious. The price point was just right. However, I don't agree that you should be charged extra money for 3 pieces of sushi left. Don't order more than your tummy can handle! Otherwise, everything was wonderful!
