Was pretty bad from an Indian stand point of view.Very expensive, ordered Onion pakoras$7/ 7 very tiny pieces, ridiculously over priced .Bindi masala, very less okras, more of the cheaper veggies, totally not authentic either.Aloo paratha was decent. Mango milk shake good.No I won't go again...we are from Atlanta and certainly expected much better.Passed through their kitchen, not clean either.

Wonderful experience for date night tonight. Wanted something different and didn’t even know this place was over here! The menu is extensive and has something for everyone!! Sad to go in and be the only customers. The owner/ manager came up and talked to us about the menu and even helped when it came to how to eat it all!! The food was phenomenal and very flavorful!

Taj is a very good restaurant for Indian food. I went there when I was visiting Macon for business. Agree with other reviews which note that it's a bit pricey, but it is oh so tasty. I got the yellow dal (lentils) and rice and ate every bit of it. The owner was also there and gave us wonderful service. Will definitely be returning when I go back to the Macon area.

Found this place on a road trip to Florida. I like to support local businesses rather than chains. The food was so good and the service was great! Loved the chicken tikka masala, medium spicy, crispy naan, and chai. Would return if we lived nearby! Highly recommend.

Worst experience I ever had in a restaurant, ordered chicken biriyani they gave me sambar/dhal rice with some chicken pieces in and that too those pieces were rotten. My friend ordered onion kulcha and they gave butter naan and order aloo ghobi and they gave just aloo. Such bad place and rude receptionist a racist person. Don’t suggest this place.
This place is awesome me and my wife were looking for something for dinner and ran across this place absolutely great i would recommend this place to anyone who likes Indian

Great food and warm and friendly service. Provided us with just the level of spice we ordered in both dishes. And the goat curry was extremely tasty with marvelously slow cooked meat. Mango lassi was delicious and the Indian chai tea was perfect.

We stopped in and had a wonderful Chicken Makhni (Butter Chicken) and Garlic Naan. The Garlic Naan was an especial joy! Clearly the chef was my garlic loving brother by a garlic loving mother - just covered in the stuff! Yum yum! Service as good, when we walked in the door, they turned on the air. So that was nice. Now the bad. For the love of god, don't use the men's room. It'll make you have doubts about what the cleanliness of the kitchen might be. The thousand and one faces of god all turn away from that bathroom (and the hall leading to it ain't much better) in shame and despair. Seriously, it came with a complimentary mosquito that I had to fend off as I was doing my business. My wife says she also had to deal with either fruit flies or mosquitos in the ladies room.
