They advertise they only serve “angus aged steaks”. I consider myself a pretty good judge of steaks and the steaks we were served were definitely “not” aged! They were just run of the mill at best! Additionally, we had to “ask” for bread and butter to be served with our meal. We paid $82.00 for two steaks with baked potato and salad plus iced tea! We left a nice tip totaling $100. We won’t be back.

Eat here rarely but give it a go every now and then. Not again after Sunday's (2/18/24) experience. A ten minute wait to be seated was not terrible, and I know that service is always slow here. At least they are consistent. I ordered a philly steak sandwich with sweet potato fries and my daughter ordered a black and bleu burger with cheese grits. We also ordered an appetizer. The philly was tasty but I likened the hoagie roll to a footlong hotdog bun. The steak is not sliced, but cut into squares and dry. One slice of cheese I was able to spread out to each end of the hotdog bun. Fries were overcooked but edible. My daughter's burger had no bleu cheese on it so I mentioned it to the server (who appeared to be high) and she said she would take it off the ticket. I received the ticket and saw that we were charged for a regular burger, and that was fine (total was 41.31). Sent my card with the server and it was charged for more than my bill (42.55). As previously mentioned, service is always slow here when you are being waited on so you can imagine getting anyone's attention after you have had your card swiped is impossible! So I marked out the 42.55 on the merchant's copy and wrote in the correct total (41.31) and added a tip to that. Today (2/19/24) I see the charge on my online banking and it was charged the 42.55 plus tip! RIDICULOUS. And maddening. They have lost a customer for good, for sure!

This is one of my favorite restaurants! Best food in town!! I love their Philly cheese steak sandwich, they make it with real steak!!
Wife’s hamburger was good. Service slow. My “Lump” crab cakes with roumelade sauce were a fairly poor frozen representation of real lump crab cakes. The plate was presented with a “swirl” of roumalade for presentation. After asking the person who brought the food out and then later our server for roumalade sauce… about 12 minutes later I asked our server again. Finally, after 15 minutes I got my sauce, after my crab was cold. Ok, things happen. But when the check came, I found that I had been charged 1.99 for the extra sauce. Upon inquiring I was told that was how fancy restaurants do it. I asked if this was a fancy restaurant the waitress said no but “that’s how we do it. So, a small roumalade sauce cost then my further business.

At one time this was my favorite place to eat.. but the last two time it was awful and they had a very high price increase but my main issue was the quality of the steak tough and fatty and the potato was cold . The waitress was very good but I felt sorry for her working at this place. I will never go back it is Longhorns for me.
