Had a great dinner here with my honey. I’m vegan and they were super accommodating. The burrito was the largest I’ve ever seen, filled with black beans, veggies and rice. The guacamole was delicious, more of a sauce than home style but delicious. He had the Texas style fajitas and loved them. The service was top notch. Will definitely go back.

Tl;dr: delicious, reasonable, scratch made food served with love in a humble environment.I’m writing this review in the sleepy, happy afterglow of dinner at Tzango. This spot is family owned and operated with Carina running the FOH and Mario running the back. Everything in the kitchen is made from scratch. Mario noted most of their recipes start out vegan and he can accommodate a wide variety of dietary needs. Prices are super reasonable considering the attention to detail and quality of ingredients. We had the best carnitas either of us had ever had. Carina also mixed us up some delicious cocktails. The surroundings aren’t super fancy but the food more than makes up for it. We will make a point to stop here again when passing through Macon. Thanks again for a great experience tonight!

Went to Tzango on Saturday evening with a group of 8 before heading to an event at the Macon Coliseum The service was spectacular and the food was good. There's street Parking, but it was hard finding a spot.

Literally the best Mexican restaurant in downtown Macon!! I eat there EVERYDAY for lunch and it could not get any better!!! You can taste how fresh the food is and you can’t beat it for the price!! Absolutely delicious food and the customer service is even better!!
My favorite place to go for Mexican food downtown. Always delicious and always a warm and friendly atmosphere. Plus the absolute best frozen margaritas I have ever had.

I LOVE this place, and I miss it so much now that I moved away, but Tzango is the first place I go when I come back to town. We lived downtown for 2 years, and ate here every week. Once you eat their food, no other Mexican food compares. Also, the owner is so sweet and remembers what we like. I get the vegetarian tacos everytime and The strawberry Daiquiri also, so delicious. If you’re considering it, you have to go!
