The service was good and the atmosphere is OK, better than the one in Warner Robins. We have eaten breakfast at both locations more than once. We gave them a second chance since the first visit at both locations was soon after they opened. Here's the assessment, applies to both locations. The coffee and other beverages are good. The breakfast sandwiches are OK, but don't get a bagel. The bagels seam like something you would get from the freezer section of a grocery store. The other baked goods are marginal, some aren't really what they profess to be, the scones are just flat muffins. If this place wants to be my go to coffee shop, they have some work to do.

Super helpful staff and the coffee was great we got the Iced Butter beer latte and a honey cinnamon latte perfect blend of flavor and coffee. We also got the Southern Special (brisket, egg and cheese croissant) they we good little dry.

Came to get a zoom call in one afternoon around 3 and was immediately greeted when I came through the door. I just had an iced tea but the barista was so friendly. Wifi was reliable and atmosphere was very calm and great for working. Parked right down the street with no issue.

I came here to do some work over a coffee and then grab lunch. The menu lists six possible sandwiches, which, according to the menu, can be ordered á la carte or in a lunch combo.I asked for the Brie, Apple, and Turkey sandwich, but they were out of apples and only had apple butter. So I asked for the chicken salad croissant, but they didn't have any croissants yet. So I went for the ham and cheese sandwich on a baguette, which is made off site, but which was available. I asked for the combo but was told the combo wasn't available with the ham and cheese sandwich. They heated it up, but it didn't get a toasty crunch. Finally, I didn't get it on a plate, but in a bag and had not been asked if I wanted it for dine-in or to go. After all of that, the sandwich itself was decently tasty. The coffee -- I got the medium roast -- was smoothe and delicious, the ambiance was nice, and the prices were good. The staff was friendly and courteous. The wifi signal was good. Overall, I was disappointed in this visit, but hope that the more egregious problems were a fluke.

Between Google maps and Yelp maps and nonsensical address numbering in downtown Macon, we were never able to actually locate this place and doubt it exists. So Grade F for this Yelp listing.

The manager there was rude!!!. She has the absolute worst customer Service ever. I was the only customer but she claims to be too busy to hand me my change in my hands! She was thawing out milk!
Let me first start off by saying that the atmosphere and service was cute. Definitely a place that I would go study for my finals for 30 mins then get detracted and watch a YouTube video then cry at the realization that I just wasted all my time. Besides that the coffee that I got was brown poopy water with little to no flavor of coffee or caramel. I also thought it would be ok to order a salad idky I thought that would be something of even descent quality at a coffee shop but I guess you can't stop my love for a nice big green salad to bad the salad wasn't green or big or even nice. The lettuce looked even more depressed then when I found out I was a failure to my family. To add to that it was 1/3 of the container that they put it in. I was very disappointed with the coffee and food. In short I will never be returning. so long.

Z Beans supports local farmers in Ecuador. In the coffee shop, you can see pictures of the farmers they support and see their names. I like knowing I am supporting small farmers. The coffee is really good too. Great story of entrepreneurship and supporting local business.
