My husband and I had such a peaceful night here at Home Restaurant! The service was OUTSTANDING, thanks to Heather. She did amazing and had such great customer service! The food was delicious ? We both got the ribeye with the garlic butter, superb My side was brussel sprouts with a cream sauce, amazing!!!! My husband got mashed potatoes that tasted like grandma made them. If you wanna good steak in Jasper, GA Home Restaurant is the place! Oh, the desert, yall, we had some kind of apple crisp with some kind of granola on it and ice cream with caramel drizzled over all of it..? Needles to say I can't wait to go back!

Lived here 9+ years and this was by far the best meal we have had here! The atmosphere,the presentation and the flavors all came together for us . We have never ever been dissatisfied with any of the dishes offered!

This is our special event restaurant ie B Days and Anniversaries or OOT company. I have never had a bad meal here. The menu changes weekly and we have to plan any events since they are only open Tuesday-Friday. Also it's a 50 minute drive for us so you can see we think it's worth it.

We were staying in Big Canoe and we decided to try Home restaurant. Wonderful spot. Excellent service. All of the food was terrific. My wife is vegan and my daughter is a very picky eater and somehow Home still found a way to accommodate us and impress us with their delicious offerings. We will be back 100%. Don't forget to make a reservation!

Matt and Alex are the perfect host from beginning to end. Dinner suggestions from Waylon on point. Everything was delicious starting with the brussel sprout appetizer and ending with the chocolate toffee dessert. Definitely will be returning! Thanks for a great experience!

For years now, the best place around for a reason. Menu is creative and just delicious. Service is phenomenal; Matt at the bar is always great. The kitchen really puts out great creative food, you never would have expected. The attention to detail makes you feel like you're private dining but you'll become best friends with whoever is next to you.

As always, we enjoyed another wonderful evening at Home Restaurant. It is such a welcoming place, and the menu and specials have something for everyone. Every course they offer is fresh, flavorful, and creative. The service was also outstanding. We could not be more pleased to have such a perfect restaurant so closeby.

Home never misses! Innovative cooking and extraordinary service. Tried new items last night - petite filet salad was scrumptious as were the eggplant fries. This is one of our favorite restaurants ANY WHERE! Whenever we're in Big Canoe, we make sure to eat at Home AND to also take-out.

Have had multiple good meals here but honestly the owners make it a challenge. First of all they are open only four days a week which don’t include Saturday or Sunday. The menu is not issued until 4 pm the day you want to eat. Given the fact that the paucity of restaurants in the area means you have to make a reservation at least a week in advance, you never know what you’ll eat until a few hours before dinner (no lunches, brunches either of course). If only they had a basic menu with specials would certainly help. Also operating the restaurant more like a real business with at least 5 or 6 days they are open would help bring this restaurant into the 21st century.
We love the food and the service. Unfortunately, the steak was way overcooked, and had to be re-cooked by the time it returned to the table. Everyone else had almost come completed their meal. But the biggest disappointment in the evening, was being charged a dollar per olive for a dirty martini ($4 extra) a dollar for an orange slice for garnishment on a beer, and a dollar for a pickle slice to be put on a hamburger . I have never been charged for garnishments, or for pickles at any restaurant . This was very unexpected from such a nice establishment.! We unfortunately will not be returning if this is their common practice to nickel and dime you for these things.

Our go-to restaurant for any occasion. The menu changes every week with some regular items but always something new and outstanding. Last night started with the pork belly small plate and the goat cheese arancini. Both were groan worthy. At the table we had three mains, duck, tuna, and lamb. All were exceptional. The bar offerings are always creative and delicious. I can't say enough about how much we love this place and all the folks who work there.
