Cookie dough trifecta is da bomb dot com!

We visited Alumni Cookie Dough last night for the first time. We were in the mood for ice cream, but decided to give Alumni a try because we saw that they have both ice cream and cookie dough. The owner was really nice and suggested we sample some of the flavors of cookie dough. I think they had 15-18 different flavors! I tried the strawberry shortcake (my favorite by far!), cookies and cream, and birthday bash. They have vanilla or chocolate ice cream, and you can get cookie dough or ice cream by the scoop (or a combo of the two), or they can mix them together on a marble slab. They also do milkshakes. My husband got a milkshake with chocolate ice cream and chocolate lovers cookie dough, and it was delicious. I did the ice cream and cookie dough mixed up, with vanilla ice cream and strawberry shortcake cookie dough. I think the owner said the strawberry was a special flavor, but I hope they decide to keep it because it's that good!

False advertising…the last 4 times i’ve been here there had been no dairy free flavors available. On their website it clearly shows they have it but never do. Needless to say i’m upset. Please don’t advertise this if you don’t even have it.

So I went here a a little while ago. The store has very odd hours.. it’s open late in the day which is quite annoying and it closes a bit earlier than it should. The service when I walked in the one time I tried it was pretty bad as when I walked in there was a guy there who said that they were closing early and his friends were in there. If the owner is reading this it’s a tall white guy who said it and he didn’t seem to be doing his job well.

when I walked in, I was immediately greeted with two very smiling faces. They made the process so simple and easy, and I got to try so many different things. They are the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and their food is even sweeter would come again!!

The place itself is lovely. I'm not an alumni of University of GA so all the bulldog stuff and colors don't mean anything to me, but if you are I assume that's a bit of a draw. Ultimately though, I think eating raw, room temperature cookie dough just isn't my thing. The flavors I tried were pretty bland too, although I only had a few. Perhaps if I returned and tried a few more combinations of cookie dough with some vanilla ice cream I might find it palatable, hard to say. But if this is something you definitely think is a treat, the store is small but clean, there are a few tables with some games for kids I guess, and the young lady at the counter at about 8:30 PM on Friday night was very sweet and helpful. If raw cookie dough is something you find to be a treat, this is a fine place to indulge. Personally, I'll never return, but that's due to the concept, not the execution.

Really great! I tried their seasonal Key Lime flavor and loved it. The Chocolate Lover and Red Velvet are also delicious. Quick, really helpful service and honestly very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!

Delicious dessert at a crazy affordable, dare I say cheap, price!I am a picky eater and my calories must be worth every number on my counter!I usually have a weekly indulgence with ice cream, but this week I tried Alumni Cookie Dough and I have no regrets!Snickerdoodle is so good. I also tried the Mint chocolate which is delicious too - and moderation went out the window as I got a mini three pack. The third flavor was peanut butter.Just try it!!

This little place is a gem! Cookie dough in an assortment of flavors, Jittery Joe’s coffee, service with a smile and Georgia fans! For the odd ball in the group looking for regular ice cream, they’ve got you covered. They also serve chocolate and vanilla. Sad we didn’t know about them sooner!
