I can't imagine a better bakery, period. I had a pretzel pastry that blew my mind! I mean, I actually offered to provide free pest control for a trade on their products. If you are looking for a place to make your home base for bread and baked treats, Don't EVER lose this bakery.

Excellent baked goods- rye bread very flavorful and substantial--poppyseed coffee cake very tasty! Enjoyed several soups- - were hearty, cabbage soup and tomato soup excellent accompaniment for bread and protein - staff helpful-and enthusiastic

Today I got aFlorentine which is caramelized thin pieces of almond dipped in chocolate which was $2.35. Fruit Tart which was $4.95 which is a tart lined with chocolate filled with cream that kind of resembles banana pudding but and an assortment of fruit.Last but not leastA Cheese with Jalapeno Pretzel $3.49 which about the size of where my thumb- down. It tastes just like a cheese and jalapenos pizza without the sauce made on top a German pretzel.Everyone is super friendly the lines aren't very and if you listen you'll get some really good recommendations. Like the Florentine which was recommended to me.
I'm addicted to these chocolate chip cookies!! Gourmet!!

Dropped in because I had passed by it multiple times and had never stopped before. Quite a variety of baked goods,breads and sandwiches and not only staples of German cooking, but exquisite chocolates and other delicacies. Staff was friendly and smiling. What a pleasure! Understood from a patron it's been here since 1964!!
