We had a fabulous dinner at Drift!! The lobster roll, green apple salad, and fries were delicious. Max did a fantastic job waiting on us and was so kind. We wish Drift would reopen in a new location. We have been loyal patrons for many years. One of the best seafood restaurants ever!!! We are going to really miss it.

We in the very large group of people who are sad that Drift is closing. It's a great loss for East Cobb and for us. During the Covid shutdown, Drift was one of a small handful of restaurants we consistently ordered from in the hopes they would survive the pandemic. They did but could not survive the rent increase from their landlord. Our last night did not disappoint. Service was personable and engaging. The food was delightful. It was a fitting last evening at Drift.

We are devastated that this beautiful restaurant is closing due to an unreasonable increase in rent. It is an absolute gem in the area. East Cobb will be left without a restaurant that is a truly special place to dine and celebrate with friends and family.

We were surprised by the restaurant being out of clam chowder for a 6:15pm reservation. Expensive as always but moreso, which is why so many people only go for a special occasion. Sorry it's closing but totally understand why.

Sydney was our server again and she is a delight! Our meal was perfect as always and we are very disappointed at the restaurant closing. It is a neighborhood treasure. Thank you Erin, Kimberly and Steve

Not sure if its because of the holidays or because they are closing at the end of the month but we had our first disappointing experience at drift. Food was ok. The warm burrata salad wasn't warm and we never had our waters refilled. Service was ok.

Always an amazing time here, but this time really was the best. Drift made my husband's birthday extra special with a personalized menu and the most delicious celebratory dessert (key lime pie). Hopefully we can find some extra time to come visit again before the 12/30!

We started our dinner with 6 Wood-fired Oven Broiled Oysters. They were outstanding. My wife had the Warm Lobster roll with a green garden salad. I had the Black Grouper. It was all excellent. Our primary server was Bear and she was outstanding, as well as the rest of the staff. We high recommend Drift. We wish all of the staff of Drift the best for the holidays and their future!

Max was an excellent server. He took great care of our table with help from Katie and John. Smooth team work to ensure everyone was happy on a busy Friday night. Obviously well managed place.

Katy was our waitress and she could not have been better. Courteous with great suggestions and timing. Had the tuna tartar which is made quite different here. Good tangy spice rice paper crackers. TheNew England clam chowder was wonderful and was the special seafood entree striped bass in a mole sauce. A sold tangy taste to it, so if you like a bit spicy, I'd recommend. Lastly we had key lime pie to top off a fabulous dinner. One of our favorite restaurants, and one we did our best to frequent and support during The Pandemic. We are sorry to see them close at year end

We were so disappointed to hear that Drift was closing after 8 years of wonderful seafood. It's challenging to find excellent dining in East Cobb and we have always been pleased with the quality of Drift. The fact that Drift is closing due to the leasing company's unreal increase amount makes it sting even more. The Avenue is losing a gem!!! Thank you for the great dining memories, Drift.

This was one of the last times we will enjoy this wonderful restaurant. We are very sorry to see it close. Please help the wait staff find new positions wherever they may go. Good luck and Merry Christmas to all!

So sad to see that Drift is closing at the end of the month. Dinner with friends was delightful...delicious food as always. The Frogmore Chowder was incredibly good and so perfect for the cold windy evening!

We started our dinner with our favorite Wood-fired broiled oysters with Parmesan Garlic lemon. They were outstanding! My wife had the seared scallops. They were cooked to perfection along with the butternut squash, cauliflower, and mushrooms. I had the Parmesan Crusted Trout Piccata. This was a new dish for me and it was fantastic. The lemon brown butter sauce with capers was amazing! Our primary server was Nicole and she was outstanding. Great recommendations and prompt service. We highly recommend Drift!

The food was great, but the service could have been better. Slow to get food and drinks, server ordered wrong entree, so my friend had to wait on food while I ate. Only a very mall apology. Nothing else done to rectify situation.
