Big Fish and Chicken is located next to a BP gas station and is a casual atmosphere. We called in honey garlic, mild, lemon pepper, bbq, Parmesan wings totaling 120 wings with French fries and coleslaw for our get together at my cousins home. Because of how large the order was we waited 45 mins once we got there. The food was excellent! Even the coleslaw. It was a little more "tangy" but I loved it. I don't find too many places that make good coleslaw. The cashier wasn't too friendly at first but warmed up. The lady packing/bringing us the food was very friendly. I especially loved the honey garlic and Parmesan wings. The wings were cooked and seasoned well. It's a great place to get wings.

Does this place have a fancy, hip atmosphere? Absolutely NOT! (It is behind a BP station on Canton Rd.) Does this place have AMAZING fried shrimp and fries? ABSOLUTELY YES!!! You will love these shrimp! I can't wait to come back to have the fried chicken and fried catfish!! My friend got a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and she said it was also outstanding! I think everything here must be very tasty and they also have takeout. The staff was friendly, too! Big Fish and Chicken is a hidden gem in Marietta! Enjoy!

Definitely not worth the 45-1hr wait Cashier was RUDE AF and VERY RUSHY!!!! I told her it was my 1st time here thinkin she would be helpful when asking about the menu items...Instead she seemed so annoyed whenever I asked a question about menu options...then.........after my mom and I placed our orders we were told the wait time would be 45 mins to an HOUR!!!! While signing the receipt I said " that would hv been good to know before placing our orders". The cashiers reply was "well I can refund u your money". No apology for the lengthy wait time or apology for not mentioning it before, like most businesses do be for placing an order... Nope!!!! Just a smart ass reply. Jus bad business!!! Good customer services goes a long way!! You can't serve mid food with a bad attitude... I dnt mind waiting on fresh hot food cooked to order, that's fine! But would I like to know of an extended wait time absolutely! Food was ok...Definitely not as good as "the socials" hyped it up to be...would give them a 5.5/10...I like my fish fried hard and the fish her was alil to soft for me. Shrimp was ok and so was the chicken. My mom got the spaghetti and said it was ok. On the positive side they do give u your moneys worth! We had a ton of food. And it's BLACK OWNED!!! I try my best to support black businesses...but I gotta be real...happy eating!!!

All right folk. I'm giving you a first ever 2x review on this restaurant. Im trying to multi-task and savor my chicken, and shrimp combo plus seasoned fries while trying to text is a skill. I like y'all a little but I ain't stop eating my much desired lunch and possible back up dinner if the left overs make it home. I'm here to tell you they serve your meal in a miniature cake box and when they open it to show proof of order all that goodness is on display and bout to get gone. My only request is an extra tarter cause it's the tastiest ( is that a word?, ....whatever), dipping sauce. And it's not from Walmart... I think!?! My food is so piping hot when I pick it up I try to get that initial bite before I get to my car but I gotta wait a few minutes or do the "blow-n-chew" mouth dance cause l can't wait to feast. Fish just the right crisp, shrimp just the right tenderness, and o o o those warm fries with dat sprinkle of seasoning... dam u just gota taste if for yourself.... "you can lead them to the spot... but you can't make them act right .. waz that big Sharpton's quote !?! This spot is gona make me get a gym membership, dam it, cause I won't stop going. It dispels some truths about a few fish spots by-us-for-us...(ask a sun kissed friend for context). The spot is clean, the service is warm and they know my name "Mr. 2 tarter"...it's not my gov-ment but work wit me folk. I guess I've been so many dam times but whatever the "fried" hits. No apologies! One note to the owners is to get on the traveling festival circuit. You can charge up to 33% more for that same deliciousness. It's going to hit with the raisins-n-da potato salad and the none seasoning folk big...Peace.

Surprisingly I had never heard of Big Fish and Chicken. My daughter is in the area a lot and told me and my mom about it. The restaurant is in a small plaza on Canton Rd, a very high traffic area. It's connected to gas station, so there's plenty of parking. We decided to try a little bit of everything. We ordered garlic parmasean wings, 4 pc whole wings, small catfish and a dynamite bowl with shrimp. My daughter called the order in on her way to pick it up so everything thing would be fresh. She was told it would be about 20 minutes. When she arrived about 20 minutes later, she had to wait about another 5 minutes, which we didn't mind because everything should be fresh. Let me just say, I'm not a huge fan of to-go food, especially fried to-go food. Well...I'll eat Big Fish and Chicken, to go, there or even in the car! I can say enough about how good everything was! Everything was fried and seasoned perfectly. They out the "crack" powder on everything and it makes it even better! The catfish was perfectly crunchy, not burned and didn't have the fishy taste that some fish can have. I didn't really get to taste the dynamite bowl because it was for my husband and he wasn't home, but I ate some of the broccoli out of it and it was yummy! The only thing I didn't care for, was the fries. However, my family all liked them. Everything was so good that as we're talking about looking for our new house, my mom says, we need to stay close to Big Fish and Chicken! LOL We'll be back next week! Don't change anything, except maybe the fries! LOL

I found this location through YELP. I was sad that they didn't have the spaghetti everyone was talking about unfortunately they were sold out. I ordered chicken and Fish. The cashier was like lukewarm water not mean not nice. About 20 minutes it took about 20 minutes and my food was ready. I was shocked when I saw the box. The presentation was amazing and the cook from the kitchen had one of the nicest dispositions I have ever encountered. The price point is good and the catfish was season well and so was the chicken This location it's definitely worth a visit

They lack good customer service skills. I've been here several times. The food is average, it's about location & being a black owned business that i do try to support the business. Not sure why I'm disappointed with their service, that I usually receive. They seem aggravated by any questions about the menu or how items are prepared. I've been told a 20 min wait that ends up taking 45 mins. I've been told a 20 min wait that was shorter but no one informs you if your order is ready. So the order is ready in 10 mins but you're told 20 mins, now the food is cold when picked up. It's more than likely my last time here.

Fresh off the road and my sister recommended I try this place. I tried to call to order ahead but they didn't answer the phone. I'm told this is common, which I hate. While they have a few booths to eat in, it's mostly take out. Inside is divey, with small tvs on the wall to watch something while you wait. Young lady taking orders acted like she's had a rough day already. Not overly friendly when I asked about the special sauces but she was efficient. We got the bomb bag, with fried shrimp and fried okra. We also ordered the 6 wing plate, which came with fries, cole slaw and bread. That bomb bag came with a lot of food! Big, juicy shrimp and fried okra that could easily be split between two people. The shrimp were flavorful but I didn't appreciate that little cup of cocktail sauce because it was hard to dip the big shrimp. The okra was good too even though it's the frozen variety. Got the big steppa sauce with the wings and I was not a big fan. It seems most sauces are mustard base, which threw off the taste to me. Wings were fine. Nothing to write home about but were decent. Overall, I enjoyed the shrimp far more than the wings. But this is a good spot to grab a good meal.

Today was my 1st time here but far from my last! I don't share my food but this food was so good I had to let my coworker try some. My favorite was the shrimp but honestly, everything was on point. The lady at the register provided excellent service that made me want to come back before even trying the food! Don't let the gas station next door deter you. TRY THE FOOD! LOL

I am from Chicago and I'm home often, but when I saw catfish and spaghetti I knew the good folks at Big Fish & Chicken were from home!! I absolutely was not disappointed. I got the 2/5 which was 2 large catfish filets and 5 whole wings. I got spaghetti instead of fries which was also delicious!!! You're going to have to wait, but it's definitely worth it. It's a chicken shack so manage your expectations around ambiance, but it's clean and the food is bomb!

This is just a little hole in the wall place across from Marietta Fish market but well worth the trip. I've been going there for over a year now to get their catfish. It is very good and not very expensive at all. The service is fine and they wait on you quickly.
