This is my go-to "shopping center" Mexican restaurant. Good food, lots of choices. The service is top notch and the entire staff is very friendly. They even appreciate my broken Spanish. Great drinks/bar. Prices have gone up recently, but whose prices haven't?

Ok! Not certain what others whined about, they should hand out cheese with the whine as it's lame!I ordered old school fresh margaritas, no sweater, no agave just a bartender's choice of clear tequila, lime, with salt on the rim... BAM!!! Mule kicked to the back of the head while halfway through the 12 oz and I am not lightweight, from the SoLa coast and a heavy hitter! Ordered 1 side , a tamal, it tastes like Abuela recipe, home cooked and killing it! Filled me up,. 2nd of old school Margarita and had to drink water to thin my blood in prep to stand up and walk out! Damn! All the people are beautiful, friendly and helpful! There is absolutely no reason to whine unless your a narcissist, then you will whine no matter what happens! Great ambiance, lots of friendly multicultural folk, including my Heinz 57 self. I will be back!Parking: Lots of parking, it's right off Dallas hwyWheelchair accessibility: Easy in and out, roll your arse up, these folks are accommodating .

Walked in and staff seemed to go over and above to provide my husband and I with excellent service. Greeted with smiles, restaurant was very clean, aesthetically cute, and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Came here for lunch to celebrate my friends birthday. It is a cute little atmosphere but everything after that sucked! We waited 30 minutes before even placing an order. Never given salsa nor chips. HAD TO ASK FOR CHIPS WITH MY SPINACH DIP( ALL SPINACH NO DIP)! My fajita vegetables were burnt to a crisp even the other customer’s complained about they can smell burnt coming off my food! The food did come out in a timely manner. I won’t be back!

I went into the restaurant with high hopes and tried to enjoy their food with my girlfriend to be, but it was gross. I feel like Taco Bell has better food. The only bright part of my experience was my server Rita! She is a God sent! She was quick, attentive, and professional. She's the only reason I won't give the restaurant a 1 star. Spend your money elsewhere!
I just ordered one large salsa and chips to go and it was $15… HAHA! Yes. $15. I can get two large salsas and chips from any other Mexican restaurant and it’s less than $12 for two. She said it’s because they pay a lot for their good tortillas.

I was really impressed with Hidalgo's my first time eating dinner here and I was thoroughly satisfied! Prices are very reasonable the portions are very generous! You also get chips and salsa and the salsa was really good! I got a combination plate with a burrito and tostada and rice and beans very flavorful every item. I do recommend this place!
