Was excited about trying the chicken, but no one was at the counter when I arrived. There was chicken on display. But the gas station clerk said the guy had left even though it was within posted hours. Won’t waste my time coming back.:(

Git really excited that I found my favorite chicken place close to my new job near the Battery. So I jumped in the car, found the place off Delk road... it was a bit sketch... pretty dirty. But sometimes that's where the hidden gems of gastronomy are found. Yeah... no. Git my normal Cajon Tenders and seasoned fries.... They were neither Krispy nor Krunchy... they were limp, Luke warm and soggy. I was devastated. I thought I had found a perfect solution to my weekly chicken tenders craving. But alas it was a no-go. I will give them another shot in a few weeks... order the same thing and report back. Until then I'll be hitting Publix deli for my tenders meal and head up to Tate GA off of 515 to get my Krispy Krunchy Chicken made by pros.
The store is located at the gas station. The fried chicken is excellent, the taste is excellent, the crispiness is perfect, and the spices really seeps down the bone. Perfect fried chicken. The value of the fried chicken is simply excellent.On the other hand, the location is a bit dodgy. The fried chicken itself is 5 star.

This lady is so nice, her chicken is so good, there are plenty of things to eat and me a person who doesn’t like sweets, had to taste those soft blueberry biscuits. I love it here!

The chicken is amazing but when I see a rat run across the kitchen and I'm not kidding it was big. I just can't ever go back. Please fix your rat problem before someone gets really sick!

I decided to take a chance on this spot since the reviews were great and I wanted some fried chicken. I got there just after 6pm on a Saturday. No one was at the counter, and there were random pans of chicken and fries left out. Everything looked old and stale. I asked the gas station clerk about ordering fresh food. He told me they were closed and the food was put away for the night. I asked him about the food that was sitting out and he just looked at me a shrugged.I will say that when I pulled up there were two people behind the dumpster smoking. Draw your own conclusions.Never again.
