Sugar "Free" Snowballs are NOT sugar free. My Type 1 diabetic grandson and I got 'sugar free' snowballs. Within 5 minutes his Dexcom alarmed saying he was 300 and rising very fast (two arrows up). Had he not been wearing a Dexcom he could have been in a coma before we realized what he had consumed. A few days later I went alone and bought 3 sugar free snowballs. I tested each one on a glucometer. One registered HI (over 600), the 2nd was 437, and the 3rd was 547!! That is NOT minimal sugar.I contacted the manager, and someone named Adam Aldridge emailed me back, defending their use of Sucralose and obviously pleased with their "sugar free" option. In spite of what physically happened to my grandson's blood sugar after just a few sips of their "sugar free" drink and the evidence I sent them of the results of their drinks on the glucometer they were unwilling to fix the problem.Their "sugar free" drinks are dangerous for any diabetic, and worthless for any dieter.

It wasn’t super bad on the food side but , my daughter did however get pink eye after playing on their playground. Who knows when the last time the toys was washed .

This location always has amazing snowballs and the flavoring is great. Their Kiddie size price did just go up, but still a great value.
Stopped by on our way home from running errands. Heard good things about Pelican's, and my expectations were met. The worst thing about this place is trying to decide on a flavor (or flavor combination). There are literally 100+ flavors and 100s of combinations.My boys both had the 'Shark Attack', and I mixed Red Velvet Cake with Stawberry Lemonade. It's very, very sweet, but the kids didn't complain. Make sure to try the BBQ spot in the parking lot (Grill Me Crazy). We will definitely be back soon to try a different flavor combo.

I love this place! It's addictive! I couldn't believe they had sugar free flavors, that made me so happy! My favorite so far has been the egg custard flavor but the coconut is pretty good too!*** I would LOVE to see this place stay open year round offering hot drinks, like chai teas (or even Kava teas like The Mad Hatters ethnobotanical tea bar in St. Petersburg) and such! You should definitely consider it!

Love Pelican's Snoballs! Very refreshing and fun snowballs and friendly staff. My family loves to go. Recently I found out they have sugar free options and they give shaved ice to dogs. Highly recommend it.
