Im glad I found this booth at the Raleigh Home Show. Great cakes, multiple varieties, all are great! Awesome texture, taste and flavors to choose from.Individually double wrapped; could see that care not only went into making them, but making sure they were as fresh as possible.

Community Health Risk Alert! I recently worked as a contract trade show sales representative for Rumtastic in AL, GA and FL. As a former EPA compliance and enforcement officer I noted that the handling of the rum cakes could indeed pose a public health risk. There are no Department of Agriculture required labeling of ingredients nor expiration dates on ANY of these baked goods. The owner Kevin WIlburn also fails to print labels indicating where the product is manufactured in case of a recall or health emergency as required. These cakes are transported weekly across the country in absolutely filthy broken down vans with no temperature and time controls in place to assure the products are safe for human consumption. All products not sold at a trade show are transported back to the bakery in Marietta, GA and sent out the following week (an additional 7 days later) to the next trade show and handled by random individuals off Craigslist who do not have ServeSafe food safety certifications. When brought to the attention of the owner, he refused to pay me for the Birmingham, AL Home Show which was a three day show with wages of $895 for my professional services. Purchase baked goods from an ethical business. Stay safe and God Bless you all.

The moistness of the cakes is attributed to condensation caused by improper temperature exposure (hot and cold uncontrolled climits during transport.) Ran across this business at an event in Atlanta this summer and been thinking about these cakes ever since. Would recommend giving them a try!

We were gifted a Rumtastic rum cake and it was Fantastic! We were all drooling over how rich, flavorful and moist it was. Savoring every bite. I have not had a rum cake so good since my New Orleans grandmother died in 1989. You won't believe how good it is until you taste it. Taste it and be overjoyed!

I had the pleasure of purchasing delicious cakes for my Mother-in-Law's birthday at the Atlanta Home Show at Cobb Galleria. Ms. Howard at Rumtastic was absolutely amazing. Her professionalism and dedication to customer service perfectly represent the joys of supporting small businesses. My Mother-in-Law was overjoyed with the cakes! Thank you so much for making her day extra special!

Worth the wait - they are the only place I could find that sells true traditional rum cakes. Having a party? Need a pick me up? They have small, large and mini rum cakes. Rumtastic, indeed :)I buy one faithfully every year and more of then when we have family get-togethers. If you have never had rum cake before, this is where I would start. Each cake is custom made to order, so be prepared to call a day or two ahead.Tip: they have a store front in Marietta and also deliver throughout metro Atlanta. Tip well, and you may well be first in line for the next order.

This past weekend while attending the Cincinnati Music Festival, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Kevin. He had a booth selling his rum cakes. I tried one of his samples. WOW, "The Best". I purchased a butter pecan, a strawberry and (2) pineapple Rumtastic Rum Cakes. They were so moist they absolutely melt in your mouth. Packaging was very nice for the outdoors. My only regret is that I didn't purchase more.

Purchased the Vanilla and Butter Pecan at the Indiana Black Expo this weekend and both were gone within minutes! Soft and flavorful!

I purchased five rum cakes at Brunswick 4th of July celebration and they were great. I ate one before we left the stand and they had plenty of samples.

I had the good fortune to come across Mr. Wilburn last Saturday at the Southern Christmas Show selling his cakes. These cakes are delicious, my goodness. Also, Mr. Wilburn is the sweetest man ever! We will be in Sandy Springs in December because that is where my husband's workplace is. If it's feasible, I'd like to go to Rumtastic Cakes in person.

We just tried chocolate, lemon, pina colada and butte pecans with my teenage son and daughter and nobody likes. It's have a strong alcoholic flavor and awful tastes. We pay $7 for each little cake at Suwanee Art Festival The promoting is you don't have to buy it but you have to try it my mistake was not try it before pay $23 for this. Over price and not a good taste for that reason of my own opinion I do not recommend it.
