Where to begin...this will be a long review, so, sorry in advance. Our experience with The Marietta Local began when I reached out to them regarding catering for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. Since then, we have nothing but positive things to say. We have been dealing mainly with the owner, Jim, who has been extremely accommodating to us. Every phone call, meeting, etc. he has been our point of contact, which I feel like is rare. Before we even fully committed to Marietta Local for our catering, Jim invited us into the restaurant for a meal and told us to try whatever we wanted. We were not disappointed! We had meatloaf, nashville hot chicken, grits, quinoa salad, collard greens, plus a couple more items that I cannot recall at this time -- everything we had was spectacular! We were served quickly and the staff was so pleasant. We got to sit down with the chef, Emily, and talk through our menu preferences, and she assured us the one thing we would not have to worry about is our food, she had it all under control; which, for anyone who has ever planned a wedding and knows the stress, this was so re-assuring to us. I cannot say enough good things about Emily. She is an incredible human and an even better chef.That same visit, we got to meet Jim in person. His personality is infectious. You can tell he is genuinely so proud of his restaurants and I think that shows in the food and service they put out. While our wedding events are not until this weekend, 3/15-16, I can truthfully say I do not have a single concern about our food, but will definitely write another review or edit this one, post-wedding. I cannot wait for our family and friends to try everything that we have planned with The Marietta Local!TLDR; service and food is 10/10, whether it is catering or breakfast/lunch dine-in. This spot is a must try!Edited to say: our rehearsal and reception food was out of this world good!! We have gotten so many texts telling us the food was some of the best they have ever had! Absolutely use Marietta Local for your catering needs!!! I cannot sing enough praise for the entire team.

The fried chicken is the star. It’s pretty much awesome in every dish they serve. The chicken and French toast is my favorite Saturday morning in Marietta.Order at the counter and grab a seat. Food comes out quickly. Great value.

Good options. Close to the courthouse and on the square. Cute little spot. A little expensive for what it is. Been here twice and had minor issues both times. Once we we're the only ones there and food took ages to comes out and the second time my order was wrong. They fixed wit quickly and fixed our check but the quick fix also meant my chicken and cheese biscuit meant a chicken biscuit with a cold square of cheese plopped on top. Of you're on the square I think there are better places to eat bit I'd get coffee or tea here. Of your on fort, probably a decent convenient lunch spot.

Love the grilled chicken sandwich. I got it yesterday and if it wasn't Sunday I would be getting one today. What a wonderful place to have in our town.

I went to this lovely little place for breakfast.The service was amazing. Everyone was so kind and I appreciated how they took their time to explain the way things worked and their menu. They also cared about my day.I had the basic breakfast of eggs, bacon, potatoes and a biscuit. It was all delicious.I hope to be back again!
The food here is really yummy. We had the French toast with fried chicken and a chicken biscuit with sides. It is a tight space but the service was good!

Stopped in for breakfast, and had an ok experience. It's a neat spot in a good location. The chicken biscuit was delicious...5/5 stars. The scrambled eggs were ok, a little greasy, and nothing special...2.5/5 stars. Biscuit with gravy was pretty good, being a homemade biscuit, but the gravy lacked some flavor...3/5 stars. The coffee was hot and delicious. The service was meh. Some folks standing around and none of them smiling. No real enthusiasm from the cashier when our order was placed either. Spending $30 on a very basic breakfast for two, I expected a friendlier atmosphere. Willing to come back for the chicken, but might make it a to-go order.

Staff was very nice and the food was Amazing. Their was a line going out the door but we were only in it maybe 5 minutes. (I ordered pancakes with a coffee and my brother got Tacos with a coffee.

This restaurant is located in the Square. This place has been on my list for a while and I finally tried it a few months ago. I've been to this restaurant twice now and the service and food are consistently good. I ordered the chicken biscuit both times. The biscuit is homemade and the chicken is seasoned to perfection. The portion size is more than enough. The second time I dined here I ordered the potatoes, good but too salty for my liking. Parking can be tricky due to the area so i always try to dine here early. Overall, I highly recommend this spot!
