I went in and ordered 2 meals to go. The 1st one was ok at best. But the second one was horrible....completely inedible. I had to throw it out. My waffle was mostly still batter the blueberries we only on 1 section of the waffle. And my hashbrown were ice cold and only cooked on the top the rest were raw. I also ordered them with cheese, tomato, and ham. The cheese was not melted, there was only 1 piece of ham and 2 tiny pieces of tomato. I'm so disappointed that I spent $26 and couldn't even eat it.

All the employees last night were rude for no reason like it’s your job grow up. Our waitress acted like we were in the wrong for even coming in cause she had to get up and stop riding the clock. Terrible experience and we were over charged for no reason. Tacked on an extra $5.
I'm so disappointed in the experience I had here. I walked in for breakfast, and was super excited for a good waffle house waffle and eggs. I sat down at the bar, where there were two other people who had already been attended to... and waited. And waited. And waited. Meanwhile, the ladies behind the bar were walking back and forth past me, calling out orders, attending to the other 2 men at the bar, but never once acknowledged me, despite making eye contact at least three times.When I finally waved one of them down to get their attention, she looked exasperated and asked me what i needed. I told her I've been waiting to be acknowledged so i can order, and she said they didn't know if I was picking up a to go order or not. Then she said they were very busy (there were the 2 men at the bar and 3 other families there) and she'll be with me in a minute. It was very rude, and the to-go counter is on the other side of the restaurant anyway. Why would I be sitting at the bar if I didn't want anything? There's no host or hostess, so what else would I do as a customer?Eventually, someone came and asked me what I wanted to drink. She forgot my water and I ordered just a waffle and eggs. Everything tasted VERY average - you can tell when people don't make your food with care. Then the waitress brought me my food and water in to-go containers, even though we had established I was dining in. I had to ask for water repeatedly, by the way. And syrup and butter. Then I dined in and ate with plasticware because I was not given another option. It was a miserable experience and I don't see why I would repatronize this place nor recommend it to others, if that's how they treat customers now. Sorry disappointing.

The food is okay, but it is so consistent and always there for you it's a staple of the South a must visit whenever you can. If you can make it there after 1 am it's usually gonna be there for you. You may catch a show depending on location.
I was a customer at Waffle House around a week ago, and the cook was amazing. A younger blond haired man. He came by the table when it wasn’t busy and asked if we needed anything, and told us he just started and loved working there. But our waitress was a short light skinned women who seemed to have a problem with everything. She would curse loudly, and be on her phone the whole time. She blocked off half of the restaurant so we had to sit right beside the freezing door. I didn’t get any refills. I floors were very dirty and my shoes sticked as I walked. Amazing food and very nice young man, but is it worth the feeling of being a burden to the server?
The service was horrible all guests should be greeted and not ignored. I declined to support this location due to bad service and the uncleanliness of the site.
